Will definitely provide a platform to excel in respective fields. Though it depends upon the student whether he/she wants to excel in the right field or in the wrong field. There will be plenty of opportunities to excel in both the fields.
Course Curriculum Overview
Although the course structure has changed which we used to study in the 1st and 2nd year, but I still expect it to be beneficial for the upcoming engineering from our college. The introduction of latest subjects may prove vital in this process.
Placement Experience
Various IT companies like Infosys, Wipro conduct their on-campus recruitment drive. While companies like TCS, Cognizant conduct off-campus or pool campus for their recruitment purpose. The average salary offered by them is around 3. 5 lakhs per annum.
College Events
The cultural fest or "RIVIERA" as we call it, is organised every year in the month of March. The technical fest or "PRAYUKTI" takes place along with the cultural fest. Students from various different colleges attend this.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. Although most of my friends have taken a student loan for studying, but still when I compare the fee structure of my college with that of others, I find it quite satisfying.
Fees and Financial Aid
Although I have not availed any scholarship because neither I belong from any reservations categories nor have any financial problem, but there were a number of scholarship programs for meritorious and needy students.
Campus Life
There are always some sports tournaments, educational workshops, being organised by various student organisations. These all are conducted without any kind of discrimination based on Gender, Ethnicity, Race, Religion, Sexual Orientation, Politics And Economic Status.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are helpful, and share their own experiences which help their juniors in long run. Some of the alumni are at top government posts, while some work in top multi national companies. I pass on my experiences to my juniors, just like my seniors did to me.
Admission
Got admission from WBJEE rank. Secured a decent rank and got this college in 3rd round of counselling. Always had an interest in the field of Mechanical engineering and this college was good for it, so opted for this course only.
Faculty
Highly qualified and experienced teachers from their respective fields work really hard to provide quality education and experience to us. Some of them are Ph. d while some are pursuing it. They really are the backbone of the college.
