My college has a pretty good name and it keeps up with its name by it's faculty, teachers, labs, workers, etc. There are many activities held to help nurture a students engineering skills which is very important for their future.
Course Curriculum Overview
The current course structure deals with developing engineering skills in students along with practical uses and applications of engineering in day to day life. I honestly think that the tiring schedule of exams and labs may lead to a hectic day for the students.
Placement Experience
Yes. There are frequent programs for placements in my college. Major companies like Wipro, Google, Tata, Toyota, etc. conducts placement programs in my college. My college does not provide internship. Internship has to be done by a student externally.
College Events
There are many tests that are conducted in my college for an academic year. Technical fests for different branches, Cultural fest for the whole college, etc. These events are huge and different students and teachers come from different colleges to attend these fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For merit students, they have total year fees=around 50000rupees. For students under management quota, they have fees upto 100000. Compared to the other colleges, I think that the fee structure is reasonable and not expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college provides a postmetric scholarship of RS. 25000 per year for all students. There are also privileges for students of low income families, scheduled caste and scheduled tribes, etc. Loan is available.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities in my college are pretty good. Lab sessions are held, and different sports are also played. Equality between male and female is always held during these times. The students are very diverse, but no discrimination has taken place.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors were very cooperative and helping. We were always free to interact with them and to clear our doubts. They always welcomed us and helped us during problems. They were very supportive of our decisions and corrected us when wedid anything wrong.
Admission
I attended the Kerala entrance examination (keam) which made me eligible for pursuing Btech course in the college. I had to submit a few study documents like my 10th and 12th pass certificates. I also had to attend an official meeting with the principal of my respected college.
Faculty
The faculty of my college is pretty good. They are great teachers who tries to help all the students without any differences. The students are always free to approach the teachers for any doubts or questions and they are always ready to help us.
