Remarks
Positive the college had good staff. Will equipped library to study and many books are available there but the infrastructure is old and the room at not properly ventilated. However I have a positive remark about the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quiet tough it is very hard to remember. Also we are not eager to read that. We read only during exams. The exams are held quiet strictly were there is no chance on malpractice. So a honest exams are conducted.
Placement Experience
The college has a very good reputation hence it is okay to get a job. After completing the course of four and a half years there will be an internship of one year during which the medical student are exposed to different patients.
College Events
Synergia- based on medical cases where the medical students from different college and deal and debate with the new topics. Kalaspandana- a cultural fest held where there were many events like dance, fashion show Phoenix- sports meet where different batch students take part in events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Slightly expensive although feasible. As compared to our previous batch the fees have been hiked from 16, 000 to 64, 000. Hence it is not easily affordable to the poor students. Hence they go for student loan.
Fees and Financial Aid
Epass from Karnataka government which includes fee concession and also the hostel rent charge scheme. Apart from this the pratibha puraskar from backward classes department. And also the scholarship from shamanuru shivashankarappa trust.
Campus Life
Apart from studies there are many cultural and extracurricular activities which makes our stressed life bit easier. They help us in interacting with others and staff. They help us to exhibit our talent which had been hidden since many days.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is not so good The quality of the food offered is good Proper hygiene is maintained. The hostel is cleaned everyday be the moppers and the toilets are cleansed daily. Our rooms are to be cleaned by us only. We all they to maintain as much as possible clean.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the seniors are helpful. They help us to study the topics by explaining us more detailed than the lecture. During exams they spot us the important topics to be read and help in reading. They apart from ragging teach us how to behave with lecture senior and batch mates.
Admission
In NEET I got 604 marks, and state rank was 142. Then there was verification of documents by the KEA. Further the college were allotted to ua based on state rank. I got seat in KIMS Hubli. I paid fees of this to KEA through challan in bank. further I got the admission copy and fees receipt and took it to the college. There I got admitted to the college
Faculty
The faculty here are quiet experienced and teach very well. There are also some pgs who teach us. The practical are also taught very well. The cadaver dissection of also done on good way. However the faculty is t totally good
