College review

Bcom Hons is a very important and interesting course that covers subjects about different aspects such as marketing, human resource management, accounting, economics, business ethics, business law, business maths etc. The course structure is highly beneficial as it provides insights about all the aspects in which further studies and industry-specific knowledge can be gained. The exams are fair and always constitute what is being taught to us.

The college has a good placement record. The teachers are very helpful in grooming the students for their interviews. Many known companies come for hiring students not just for the jobs but also for summer internships.

Jims Kalkaji is a very enthusiastic college and gives equal importance to all events. There are many class events that keep on taking place regularly like poster making competition, skits, presentations, quizzes, etc. Many outdoor events such as cleanliness drives, plogging etc also take place. In addition to these events such as teachers day, inter Jim's competition, music concerts etc also take place.

The fee structure is feasible according to the quality of education provided and the facilities provided. Some fees such as the fee paid for the book bank is refundable. The college utilizes the fee very nicely and provides top facilities like library, computer labs, clean washrooms, water drinking collers, air conditioners etc

I did not opt for any scholarship or educational loan. There are different government schemes that can be availed if required by people.

Jims Kalkaji is a very decent college and takes strict actions against ragging and bullying. The atmosphere is very friendly and hygienic. The campus is very diverse and does not discriminate on any basis, many people from different religions study here and both genders are given equal importance.

The alumni network is good. Students stay connected with their teachers even after graduating and they are called to share their experience and life achievements with their younger generations.

I was a commerce student in class 11th and 12th and wanted to pursue it further and so I decided to do Bcom Hons. I was aiming for a good college that will offer me this course. On 5th May 2018, I appeared for the common entrance test of Ipu for Bcom Hons, and on the 12th May 2018, the result was announced. There were different rounds after that in which we had to give preferences to colleges and on the basis of our rank colleges would be assigned to us. After 3 rounds i was allotted this college.

The faculty of Jims Kalkaji is excellent. The teachers are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and have a great experience. The teachers never refuse to explain anything more than once and provide all the notes and study material required. The helping faculty is also very supportive and helpful.
