Remarks

College is quite well managed. It only lac infra, though it's a 127 year old college its declared as a monument and hence can't be renewated. The good thing is that all four years you will always be in a great confusion and after completing you are gonna

Entrance Preview

I got admission on the basis of JEE Mains and HSC score. JEE score was 145 and boards 95%.It was the best option in Mumbai for Computer engineering for my marks range.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's just good. Some teachers and extremely good while some are not up to that Mark. Overall staff is decent here.

Internships Opportunities

I'm still in second year didn't do any internships yet.

Placement Experience

4.5

I have heard and even seen they are awesome and the best. Topmost companies do come as our college being one of the best. I recently got to know package for my branch averaged 14L and topped 45L. That's really huge amounts.

College Events

3.5

Technovanza is the technical fest one of the biggest fear of India its generally in the month of december. There is about 40k+ footfall for 3 days and large no. of events and on the top of it all are free of cost. Pratibimb and Rangwardhan are the cultural fest. While Enthusia is the spots fest. These fest to attract a large crowd. But being a technological institute Technovanza is the major attraction.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't avail any. But there are numerous number of scholarship for worth, hardworking, poor and reserved students. Many central scholarship are also available. Even the staff at scholarship section is much helpful.

Campus Life

3

You will get lost in memories and four years of confusion and you would surely miss the confusion. The campus is good. Gender ratio is quite low. And there are large no. Of extracurricular activities all round the year. And the no. Of competition and always greater than you expect.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel is fun. Actually I'm a hostelite. The infra is not that good. Food is decent. And as its government funded the fees is quite cheap with more facilities. Generally everyone gets a room at the hostel. But if you apply late then you would have to

Alumni/Alumna

They are quite helpful in guiding for internship and job programs. There are even alumni lectures which help in numerous ways. Thus I think the alumni network is much great here at VJTI.

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
