Negative will be faculty are a bit strict but the faculty are very good in teaching. They make you earn your marks and give no freebies which is very good so that we will study well for the exams also.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum used to be set by kerala university which is the central body.The exams were held on a semester basis that is 6 months. Total of 8 semesters in 4 years. 2 internal exams per semester also were conducted
Placement Experience
The College has a good percentage of placement record. Microsoft, infosys , ibm are the big companies coming on an yearly basis. Besides these many IT firms come for recruitment irrespective of your specialisation
College Events
Crossroads is the annual cultural intra college cultural fest. Besides this there is onam, Christmas celebration and many other technical fests conducted by all the departments separately. We also had freshers day celebrations.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is the rate fixed by kerala government.per year the fees are 75000. This is the same for people obtaining admission through entrance exam or management quota. The fees are different for people joining through NRI quota.
Fees and Financial Aid
The College does give out scholarships. They give out scholarships to backward class students with minimal to no fees required at all. Also scholarships are given to students who thrive in sports and cultural sides.
Campus Life
The lab facilities , the running of the college senate , the infrastructure present in among the best around. The location is atop a hill with beautiful greenery all around. Labs are state of the art and are of utmost quality.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are really helpful. The bond is always strong among your department folks. The College does have an alumni association. It even has a separate branch for people located in the middle east.
Admission
I got admission by submitting an application wherein which based on our 12th grade marks we were called to attend an interview kind of round to take admission. This is done for 50% of the total seats while the other 50% are selected purely via entrance exam ranking
Faculty
The faculty are of the top quality. They give you that much attention and convey their teachings in a great way. Faculty of mechanical department are very friendly too. The lab technicians are of great help too.
