Remarks

The university that the college is currently affiliated to has an outdated syllabus and a poor infrastructure on conducting exams and allotment of staff to correct the papers. Often staff are alloted papers to correct that they have no relation with and cannot properly understand. Once University exams start, the exam migh even be postponed 2 hrs before the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Most of the subjects are outdated technology and do not have any use in the current IT field. Exams have fair amount of time in between, not too hectic. Structure is not much focused on research, as long as you have a good attendance and a good memory power, you can do well in terms of grades.

Placement Experience

4

No internships within the college, but college does have tie-ups with other universities and organisations that do provide internships. Companies ranging from startups to MNC's like Amazon visit the college every year for recruitment drives, ample job opportunities.

College Events

4

Technical Festival Nakshatra, Cultural Festival Pratitya, Management Festival Samyukta, National Conference Srishti, and other festivals related to local celebrations. There are celebrations relating to most regional and cultural festivals. There are annual department level festivals that encourage competitions among various departments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Merit Seat - 75000rs base fees Management seat - 150000rs base fees NRI seat 200000rs base fees All include other fees such as uniform, lab, membership to various communities, etc. Scholarships available for students who score high marks and for reserved communities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship amount varies on the terms of CGPA. 8. 5 to 9 - 25000rs 9 to 9. 5 - 50000rs 9. 5 to 10 - 75000rs There are other scholarships offered by various external organisations for reserved societies.

Campus Life

4

A lot of extra curricular clubs and activities. No discrimination in any activity or selection to such clubs, apart from clubs which are specifically for a certain gender. Labs are as per the university norms and have enough instruments to teach the required course.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

3 hostels for men, 3 hostels for women, one of each is international standard. Other two have regular rooms which might have attatched bathroom or common bathroom and the rooms might be single or for 3 people.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are friendly and willing to help if needed. College staff keep in touch with alumni students for several years. These students may take classes/workshops or they may be able to suggest juniors for recruitment to their companies.

Admission

College and batch was alloted based on my entrance score. Submitted the originals of my 10th and 12th mark sheets along with the application form for joining. Payed the initial security deposits along with admission fees and a few others.

Faculty

4.5

Most faculty are well qualified but around 10% don't have a clear idea about what they teach. A lot of subjects being taught need faculty who are well versed in the topic and are limited. Even those faculty well versed in the theory ofa subject need not know anything about it's practical application in the lab. Most faculty are well versed in both, but there are faculty that know nothing of how to implement theory into lab sessions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance. The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies. The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
