Remarks

It's a very good college although the campus is considered small. Politics is present in the college and it's good thing if something goes sideways. The students are given more importantace in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum has been changed when our batch was enrolled. It's okay. Contains all the necessary things. The course has again been changed last year due to changing needs. With focus on research I would say the course is perfect. Exams are announced early for our convinience. Sometimes exams are frustrating.

Placement Experience

4

It has been okay over the last year's but from last year onwards it has changed. Now placements are really good. This year even before seventh semester 45 students were placed. Yes my college does provide internships. It's a very good work experience. The stipend varies.

College Events

5

The most prestigious events of ours is our techfest called Invento. It's a four day program inviting all students from different colleges. The event includes technical workshops, talks, games etc. There are also IEEE events, which are conferences, meets etc. And almost all cultural events are also celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's feasible. Since it's a government college, the fees is just below 20000 for a whole year. This include tuition fee, s registration fee, library fee, sports fee etc. The fee structure is really feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarships are provided by our college. All government related scholarships are given. College Union also gives scholarships. Education loans are also provided by our college by means of partnering with the bank.

Campus Life

5

The labs are excellent. Sports has a club and are really active. Many goes outside for competiting and we have a good history of winnings. Gender ratios are almost one to one. Workshops are arranged regularly. Many societies are present like drama club, music club, sports club, IEEE, IEDC, fashion club, etc.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostels are all really good. It's sharing system now. A room is big enough to accommodate 3 people. There's wifi available and a minimal entertainment system that's good enough. The seats are enough.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the alumni network is really strong and helps us in many ways. We have an annual gathering of alumnus evaty year called eterno. They have helped in upbringing the college to a whole new level. We are gratefull.

Admission

At first we'll have to write the all Kerala engineering entrance examination. Once qualified we'll be given a rank based on our marks. Then we can choose colleges and course in an order with the top one having the highest priority. The entrance has four phases to make sure that we get the best college that we deserve. It's called allotments.

Faculty

5

The faculties are all awesome. They are really good at their field. They are really helpful and determined. They are very friendly and approachable. Since it's a government college, students are given equal importance like teachers

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance. The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies. The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
