College information

My college is good but some of the teachers make it difficult to be in lectures. The college will help you alot in personality development as there is many cultural and technical events. Negative point is that in lab the apparatus are not enough so the experiments are done in group.

The Engineering course is good. Proper practical classes takes place. The lectures are a bit hectic but overall it's good. Some of the faculty members are great but some needs more experience. The lectures are of an hour.

Placement are good for the non core branches but the mass recureters heirs the student of all the branches. theaverage package is 4lakhs. And the highest package goes upto 11-12lkhs. The minimum package is also 4lakhs.

We have college fest which is well known in kolkata. Eclecia is it name. Many technical and cultural events takes place in this fest. The budget of this fest is very high. Famous personalities like farhan akhtar, rahat indori sir came in our college.

The fee structure is very feasible. In almost 4-4. 5 lakhs you can complete your Engineering. Per semester fess is almost 45000 and the highest fess is 47200 in the last semester. The fess for the resident of west bengal is also less.

There is no scholarship only the TFW( tution fee waver) category student get to pay the less fees. TFW students include whose annual income is less than 2. 5 lakhs only falls in this TFW category for the rest the fees is same.

There are very clubs in the colleges for very sports and other cultural activities like for singing we have resonance and for acting or drama we have Anubhav there is also club for fashion and various sports club.

Ther is no college hostel. There are private hostel in the particular area e. g:- Modern Boys Hostel. In which i lived. The facilities are great and if you are a non bengali then it will be a bit difficult to adjust with the food but the food is eatable. You will find the seniors very friendly and great after a month.

Seniors are very helpful. First month You will find them a bit rude or not so friendly but later they become very helpful. They help to provide study material. They help in studies also and giver proper career guidance too.

Through WBJEE entrance exam and after that on the basis of your marks you will get a rank. And then the counselling takes place in which you choose your preference of colleges if your marks and the rank satisfies to get the admission in the college. You will be aloted the college.

Some of the faculties are great and very experience teacher but some are not so good and boring. Some of the teachers are new they lack the experience of teaching. Lab assistant are also average. Maths department is very good and physics as well.
