Remarks
The positive feedback is that the faculty and environment is very positive which plays crucial role in one's growth. The negative remark would be that there is no bigger play ground available for tournament.
Course Curriculum Overview
Instrumentation and control course curriculum is decided by SPPU University. The curriculum allows to go for internship and extra knowledge gaining from industrial people. The exam structure is as follows: - In 4 year course you have 8 semester in total. 1st four semester has 2 online exam of 25 marks each and 1 written exam of 50 marks respectively. For next 4 semester there is 30 marks written exams in beginning of semester and 70 marks written exam by end of semester respectively. Every semester has 5 subjects. Last semester includes the projec of final year.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are moderate. There were 45% students placed during my batch. The college doesn't provide any internship but if you find one then college supports you to pursue the same. The overall package of placed students was between 2LPA to 4LPA.
College Events
There are only few events celebrated at college. There is one sports event which includes major games such as cricket, football, vollyball, kabadi, basketball, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis There is one more event which is being celebrated names as FUSION. This is cultural event which include fun gathering and DJ night. The most important event celebrate by college is alumni meet so the existing students can interact how graduated alumni are working and doin in there professional life.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is slightly expensive for Open cast student it cost around 44000/- per semester and for 4 year course around 4 lakh. But there are scholarship available for many students from government and college as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
I do not know regarding scholarship as I have not taken one. But there is one scholarship provided by some parents so the students can take benifit. The scholarship pays whole year fees. This scholarship is for students who cannot afford study
Campus Life
There are many labs such as robotics lab, mechatronics lab which helps to bridge the gap between industry and college curriculum. I have personally tried both the course and both were proved helpful during placement.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, there are whatsapp group and every year college organization alumni meet for helping students to clear there doubt about there growth in there respective career. During this meet there is number exchange between students and alumni for further support required for clearing there doubt.
Admission
Apply for the engineering entrance exam. After the results of entrance exam apply for CAP round and select the college name. After selection in CAP round for the college. Visit the college for further assistance. Document list generated from CAP round need to be submitted in college and fees need to be paid. And your admission procedure is completed Note: - CAP round form can be filled for NDMVPS'S K. B. C. O. E itself.
Faculty
The faculty of instrumentation and control is highly qualified but there are some communication problem and gaps between students and faculty. The faculty also has industrial knowledge which helps students to grow in all the prospect. Faculty is highly helpful to students and also takes care of the visits to different industries and states.
