National institute of technology Hamirpur is a beautiful campus and comes in selective universities as far as the beauty is concerned. National institute of technology Hamirpur has a long way to run.it is progressing much faster since 2017. Girls are not allowed outside the hostel aftet 10.00 pm m,it seems like there is a lack in freedom for girls.

I am a student of electrical and electronics engineering department of national institute of technology Hamirpur.so i can better describe how electrical engineering department deals with its curriculum.In first year of the college some common subjects are studied by all students and some subjects regarding to department is exercised. Exam structure be like, one mid semester,one end semester,tons of assignment, quizzes, laboratory work, and test and viva for laboratory work evaluation.

Placement of the national institute of technology Hamirpur is little bit good. Average placement of the college is around 5 to 6 lakh.i am final year student of electrical engineering department,most of us have placed is some of the good MNCS like Accenture, Goldman Sachs, Adobe(girls), Amazon, Tata power,etc.

Events celebrated in college are famously two namely are Hillfair ( cultural festival) and Nimbus (tech fest). One sports festival is also celebrated namely LALKAR. They are as big as known to largest festivals of north east hilly areas

Fee structure is feasible for a middle class. During my batch it was 73000 per semester hostel fees is around 50000 per year if you want to live in hostels. Education loan scheme is also run by ministry of Human resources and development, government of india for students who cant afford the fees.

Scholarship are provided by ministry of Human resources and development,govt of India,to the student who are not financially good. Education loan scheme is also there. I also pay my fee by education loan provided by state Bank of India.

There are tons of club in national institute of technology Hamirpur,many labs are equipped with good r&d projects. No need to worry about gender ethnicity, race, ragging etc. National institute of technology Hamirpur is ragging free campus.do whatever you want to do as far as it comes under the rules of cenate.no politics is tolerated in the campus by students.

Hostel infrastructure of the college is really good,its a heaven for me. Some Hostel are newly built.during first year you will have to live in a old hostel after that all the hostel are newly built.upto 3rd year you have to live as a triplet and in final year single rooms are allocated.

This is the case where the college lags a little bit. alumni network of the college is weak. I don't know exact reason why is it. I have meet only two three alumni but not affected. However many of the college senior are working in the best companies and some of them have their own agriculral startups. Their are many industrial meets organised by alumni of the college.

Selection criteria -any student who has secured minimum 75 %marks in high school are eligible to sit in the exam JEE MAINS conducted by CBSE BOARD upto2018. JEE MAINS exams is conducted twice in a year since 2019,once in December and othet in april. Government of India has decided a separate agency to conduct the JEE EXAM in 2018.Name of the agency is called NATIONAL TESTING AGENCY.This agency has conducted exam successfully twice in a year. If one has secured rank under 20000 he or she can get admission in nit Hamirpur.best of two performance is selected to get admission in any college which comes under NTA.

Faculties not only electrical engineering department but in other departments also are highly qualified.Most of the professors in electrical engineering department have Phd from recognised universities like IIT Bombay,Delhi Kharagpur etc. Some of them have their Phd from universities like Texas university America etc.
