Silicon is one of the best institution in the eastern region. The study life social life as well as cultural life is the best. The college time is one of the memorable time of the life and silicon has made it worth.
Course Curriculum Overview
My batch was under BPUT curriculum. So the BPUT pattern was followed. But now its been 2 years that silicon has changed to an autonomous institute. So the course structure and exam pattern is slightly different from what we read.
Placement Experience
My college provides a 100% placement. It considers each and every student as its priority. Talking about my experience I got 3 offers all total. Tcs,Mindfire solutions and IBM. I choice is mindfire because it also provides 6 months internship. I am joining in January for which our college has no objection. And it also provides stipend of 16k and a package of 4. 5lpa.
College Events
Silicon has many clubs within. Each club celebrate its yearly function along with the official fest of our college that is Noeisis. Each club conducts different events and function. Recently silicon has its own Tedx society which conducted its 1st official event called Half filled Half empty with 6 renowed personality as the speakers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is decent from the perspective of a middle class Indian Family. Our batch has. Given an initial paent of 1,15,000 infavour of the college and every year all total fees is 1,20,000 approx.
Fees and Financial Aid
Silicon provide good scholarship to the scholar student. I myself bis a scholar who receive an award every year with cash prize. The meritorious students also are given good response from tge faculty members
Campus Life
There are many facilities for extra curricular activities. There are many chances given to the students to showcase their talents. The labs are well equipped and well maintained with good lab faculties.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I live in hostel. The hostel is very good, spacious rooms and internal structure with decent rules and regulations. The food is also good as compared to other institution in the town. The rooms are kept clean always
Alumni/Alumna
Every year silicon holds its alumini meet. Students from several batch come and discuss about their success. They also highlight upon their success path and guide tye students in proper manner. I personally have received a good amount of knowledge from one of our alumini member and followed the same.
Admission
After my 12th I gave the JEE mains exam and according to the rank I secured I got an admission in Silicon. In the year 2016 I got an all India rank of around 1,50,000 and I prefered computer science as my stream. So from the choices I got from the rank. Silicon was the best option.
Faculty
The best in the town are in silicon. Its a very renowed institution. The faculties have a great subject knowledge and always ready to help in any difficulties. There are many faculties for each subject. So as it doesnot bother you in rush time. During exam times you can go to any faculty of that particular subject and get your doubgs clear.
