AVCOE gives a college life with discipline and full of knowledge

College is 3 times accredited by NBA, it has also received "A" grade by NAAC, it is ISO certified, along with this the government of Maharashtra had given "A" grade recognition to college. The college is permanently affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Overall it is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra.

The college conducts weekly tests and monthly tests on a strict basis. If you get failed then assignments are compulsory. Every subject has a separate and well-experienced staff who will cover the syllabus as per university schedule in time. The practicals are conducted on a regular basis and each subject has its own laboratory which is the best in all over Maharashtra.

The placement is way too much better than any other college in Maharashtra but still, I think it could be improved. The average package of a placed student is around 1.5 LPA. And among our batch of 210 students, only 56-57 were placed but a major number of students were placed in IT industries.

Each department in college is free to arrange their own events which are arranged by students association. The winners of this competition are directly eligible to participate in the grand event of "MEDHA" which is the festival of the entire institution. The grand event "MEDHA" is a national level cultural feast which is arranged every year in January.

College does maintain transparency in fee breakdown, but when it comes to departmental fees then there is no such transparency. For example, you have to pay around Rs. 100/- only for semester registration every time. Around Rs. 300-400/- students association fees for which sometimes no activities are planned at all.

Every student in an institution is almost eligible for scholarships for which you will get your fees back as per government policies. Every time during the application period college itself makes that arrangements for students to fill the scholarship and university examination forms. You would be assisted in every aspect of your problem in the best way.

The campus is well balanced with greenery and playgrounds. You will notice the number of trees in the campus area which is the biggest advantage. No other college is having such kind of environment. The Laboratories are well equipped with updated instruments and equipment. There is a good facility for the gym and indoor and outdoor playgrounds as well.

The college has its own online platform to keep all its alumni in contact. Every time they arrange alumni meets with students so as to grow their network and knowledge.

I got admission based on my marks scored in JEE Main exam of 2015. The admission process is carried out by Directorate of Technical Education Mumbai through common admission portal for all college in Maharashtra. Based on three rounds each round has its own percentile cut off for selection.

Each faculty is well experienced and up to the mark as they should be. Every day there are around 9 lectures each of 1 hour and sometimes extra lectures may be arranged depends on the coverage of syllabus. The facilities are very cooperative in nature and very helpful.
