The college is one of the most reputed college in kerala itself. And if offers two prestigious engineering courses that are very very rare in India itself. The college offers very good campus placements records and all big multinational companies are recruiting from college.

Since my branch is CSE.so i will only focus on it.Bascially course curriculum is focused on GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).it's vision is to produce Highly competent Computer Engineering professionals with sound basic concepts, by imparting quality training with the help of recent tools and technologies.basically EXAM are counducted in semester wise.one semester is from july to november and another is from december to april.CUSAT has it's body for conducting examination.CUSAT examination wing conduct whole exam process.Basically course is focused on GATE as well as research.Labs are well epuiped with modern computer and technologies.it is also focusing on artifical intelligince.it's mission is to become a centre of excellence in computer education and research and adapt itself to the rapid advancements in the specialized field.To inculcate professional behavior, strong ethical values, innovative research capabilities and leadership abilities in the young minds so as to work with a commitment to the progress of the nation. Labs are well euiped and few of professor are quite very much co-operative.

yah college job opportunities and placements are growing year by year.this year many student got pay packet from 11-18 lakh per annum Avg pay packet was 5 lakh per annum which is decent amount to start your journey.Here one of the major recuiter is TCS.The School of Engineering, Cochin University of Science and Technology, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) have entered into an agreement to collaborate on teacher-student training, internships, project works, research etc.The agreement was signed at a brief function here by Dinesh Thampi, vice-president of TCS and G.Madhu, Principal, School of Engineering.Awards for the best B.Tech.student and project were distributed on the occasion.other recuiter are ORACLE,Sigma,Aricent,WiproTechnologies,IBM,CoralHettich,VerizonCommunications,IOT,Kitco,Nestle,TCS SCB,Reliance Wabag,Chalk Stdio.Snapdeal,Sutherland Global,Godrej,L&T,ECe,L&T Infotech BPCL,IOTL,Petrofac,Unisys,Samsung,CEAT,Cognizant,Tavant,Broadcom,CCS,etc

fees are are comparatively low with respect to other institute.CUSAT fee structure is divided mainly into two patterns for B.Tech.Course- Free Seat Category and Payment Seat Category.Students enrolled through free seat category, which are reserved for only Kerala students, need to pay less fees throughout the course.Payment category students need to pay fee almost double amount as compare to free seat category students.

No.I don't know such scholarships.May be available from the college side.That should be communicated and asked personally.Scholarship facility are provided to SC & ST student and economically backward student but this is also for keralite student only.Non keralite student have only one facility of government education loan which are run by their respective state government.TEQUIP-III provide some fund for industrial visit and internship programme.All government scholarships are available for students studying here.Community based scholarships and income based scholarships are available.College itself is not providing any scholarships or loan facilities till now.No i havent availed any of the scholarship or loan facility from college and as of my knowledge i thi k there is no other scholarship program is provided by this colg becz already fee structure of this college is very low

here seniors are very co operative.they always help in every aspect whether it is about exam,doubt solving,internal matters of coSchool of Engineering Alumni Association (SEAA) is a non-profit organization which aims to to provide a platform through which the alumni, staff, faculty, and students of SOE can interact with each other for mutual benefit.The SOE Alumni Association, it was initiated in April 2009.SEAA facilitates and inspire alumni to contribute towards improvements in the status of SOE in academics, infrastructure, industry interactions.It promotes social interactions among alumni for mutual benefit in academic and/or business areas. The objectives of the organization are to •To promote social and professional relationships among its members and other alumni of the University. • To support and promote the educational objectives of the University and the School of Engineering in order to assist in the continued development of the institution and its programs. • To foster student /alumni welfare at the School of Engineering. • To provide a medium through which the members can participate along with the other university, education, and community organizations in supporting and promoting projects of worth to the community, particularly those of concern to the engineering profession. • To assist School of Engineering in achieving the objectives for which the school was set up and strive to mobilize the necessary professional expertise and other resources.llege,external matters of college.

Well opinion about faculties is quite mixed feeling.some of them are very co operative and few are of always in serious mood.since it is kerala so no doubt about teacher.well female faculty ratio is more male faculty ratio.every teacher is well qualified and well established in their field.they always try to make student to take interest in it.
