College views

Negative thing about our college is that the authority has not taken any action till now, on the dog screams. Lots of dogs are present in our college campus. The positive thing is that every students are active in taking charges to events and the participation is super. There are no branch fights or political fights in our college. Every students are neat and clean and organizes the programs with high coordination.

The course in total is 4 years with 8 semesters.The results are published very soon after the semester exams without any delay.The lab exams are very often chill.The college staffs produce question for the lab exams their own.More often it is not much difficult one.But the major thing is that we have to submit the record written completely. The major problem during semester exams are that they are taking around 10days gap between two exams.If this takes place between all subjects then the sem break (vacation duration) becomes very less.At present, we are getting 6days of sem break only.

Placements are acquired by the final year students in our college.Major companies and brands come in our college and selects the students with potential and capability. Wipro,Infosys,TCS,Qburst and many more companies came and found our college students are fit for their job. No, our college does not provide intership.It is because they cannot afford such huge amount of money. Wipro and infosys has placed students with high potential giving stipend of starting salary Rs.20000

Unlike private colleges, programs and events are organized and run by our students itself.Mainly,third year students are conducting it. Onam Arts fest Food fest Sports meet Drama Holi Christmas Techfest Film fest Election Technical workshops Games like cricket,football,volleyball,chess,basketball,kho-kho,etc.These are conducted once in an academic year

Fee structure is very less compared to private colleges in Kerala, which goes under the same university. As I am from a middle class family, I don't think this fee is expensive.It is a feasible amount.All government colleges are deducting small amount of fee from students. Per year: Admission fee Rs.8000 Semester fee Rs.1700 (per semester) When comparing with other college which deducts around 75000 per year from students, 8000 is a small amount.

Scholarships are provided to students. E-grantz scholarship for low income families and MCM(Merit Cummmins) for minority classes are provided. Around Rs.10000 is given to the students so that they can pay the fee Rs.8000 of their own.

Our college is in top lists in extra curricular activities lile arts,sports and technical practise. Labs are perfectly maintained.Gender ratio is 1:1. Our college conducts a college sports day, and students with high potentials are taken to college level sports meet conducted by the university, among around 160 colleges. There are different labs provided for each departments namely: Information technology Mechanical engineering Computer Science engineering Electrical and electronics engineering Electronics and communication engineering. Then the M.tech students are doing their PG there.

In our college, around 1200 students study there.In that, around 700 are boys.Out of that 350 students are hostellers and rest are day scholars. For this 350 hosteller boys, there is a Men's hostel provided by the college with a capacity of 150students only. Remaining 200 boys are staying in rental house or similar cases. The girls are also same case. Students including me are staying in rental houses. The owner takes around Rs.11000 per month as house rent.

Yes, ofcourse the alumni students are very much helpful. We are conducting the alumni meet for passout students every year. We get sponsors and money deposition from the alumni from the meetups. They sponsors the events and many other programs conducted by the college.They raises more fund for the college without any hesitation, because they want this college to reach at too positions and they want to be proud to say that they are the passouts from this college, when this college reaches top position among other colleges.

I attended keam entrance exam first chance, but I could not get much rank. Then, I went to entrance coaching centre at Manjeri and then attended Keam at second chance. From that exam,I got an average rank and I got admission in a government college.Eventhough 160+ colleges are there in kerala under the same university,it is a great opportunity to get admission in a government college.There are only 9 government colleges ib kerala, and also provides great infrastructure,labs,and all other facilities.It will be more helpful for future, to say that I am a passout of this college.

The faculties in our college is superb.They are more dedicated.They are with students anytime they need help from them.Students can contact faculties anytime.There are many faculties qualified from high level universities like IITs,NITs,etc.Major thing noted is that, more of the faculty are very much interested in teaching that particular subject.
