Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very well managed and it provides insight with the practical learning as well with the teaching of tally and other computer programs.I am in my first year right now, so it's not that hectic instead managable so it's easy to spare time for me but it gets quite hectic in the 2nd year
Placement Experience
The placement and internship cell of our college is very active! Average campus package in our college is 4Lp.a while it goes up to 8L p.a The four best companies KPMG, DELLOITE, EY AND PWC are the best recruiters. Our placement cell also provides with great internships at various companies which not only provide with LOR but also stipend which varies from internship to internship.
College Events
Our college is very renowned in the whole DU circuit with its TWO MAJOR FESTS BEING considered the BEST FESTS THROUGHOUT DELHI UNIVERSITY ZISTATVA - The annual Diwali mela organised with great enthusiasm REVERIE - THE ANNUAL CULTURAL FEST which is celebrated on a really grand scale.It is a fest which one should not miss.From having the best stalls to having the craziest lineups! Reverie has it all!
Fee Structure And Facilities
Gargi,being a government college has minimal fee which is different for different groups It ranges from 13000 bucks/yr for general to just Rs 500 for PWD.The fee for SC AND ST is also very less.So I would say that the college is easily feasible in terms of fee
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes our college provides scholarship to students on the basis of their non ability to pay. It also provides an opportunity to take loan easily to pay the fee.So it's a great deal and there are no issues related to fee or anything
Campus Life
Our college has excellent scope for extracurricular activities.One would find daily some other new event happening in our college! The extracurricular activities is one thing which makes college excellent and are definitely the best part of the college Gargi has amazing performing and non performing societies with Enliven, Nazaakat and Kshitij and Enactus being very renowned in the whole DU
Alumni/Alumna
Gargi has a great great great alumi base with many successful passouts who now are even celebrities.The other alumnis also are very very helpful and they do attend all the fests and events celebrated in our college
Admission
I got into Gargi in the 5th cut off list of Gargi college announced on Delhi University site.I had commerce with math in my grade 12 so with my best 4 % being 95.75 I was able to clear the cut off and get in!
Faculty
The faculty of our college is A grade.We have well educated and knowledgeable teachers throughout our department who not only focus on the core learning but also to help us get complete exposure and teach us true insight of everything!
