It is excellent college. With great infrastructure. Excellent faculty support. And a great Alumni network. Our college has highly experienced faculty with most of the doctorate holders and our campus is 63 acres campus

Course Curriculum Overview

There 1 lab exam and one end semester exam 2 internal exam every semester. The exams are of high standard. Our college is under KERALA TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY (KTU). The end semester exam are invigilated under CCTV camera. The syllabus is so designed that it helps us for higher studies

Placement Experience

Yes we have to do an internship a year and our college gives us credit points for the internship. Our college has high placement records. Our college is a top 10 college in Kerala and all multinational companies (MNC) visit our campus for recruitment.

College Events

Our college hosts 2 fests a year. Technical fest TAKSHAK is a national level technical fest and cultural fest Sanskriti. Our technical fest is famous across the state; it has the most number of visitors. Last year we got a helicopter ride. Our TECHFEST TAKSHAK IS FOR 2 DAYS AND ARTFEST SANSKRITI IS FOR 3 DAYS.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasable.As I am under state merit my fees is rs 8500 per year.The fees is very less compared to private institution.My fees is just 8500 rupees per year.So for my entire b.tech degree my expenditure is 8500×4=34000 only

Our college implements all schemes by the government. It gives loans or aid to financially backward students and top performers of each branch each year. There are numerous scholarship schemes for students by the government, management of college, Alumni network.

We have an excellent ground and participate in every event. Our labs are finest laboratories available in Kerala. Our college is 63 acre 100 percent environment friendly campus. With an awesome ground, basketball court, athletic ground, swimming pool

Our seniors are very friendly with us our campus is hundred percentage ragging free. Seniors treat us just like their siblings the Alumni network is strong. We have lot of famous Alumni. Alumni provide scholarship, lectures, guidance, motivates us

Admission

I appeared for KEAM entrance exam 2019 i.e. Kerala entrance. I cleared the exam and was in the merit list. My college is a government-aided. It is one of the top institutions in Kerala. My admission was based on entrance rank.

Faculty

Our faculties are 100 percent devoted to their work. Most of them are doctorate holders (PhD). All our faculties are M.Tech holders and most of them have a doctorate in research and the rest are doing research.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET.
