BEING VITIAN

Overall college is very good. Area is lil small but it help lot to go faster from one department to another department. There is one juice centre,one NPB bakery,One canteen,One coffee shop and also one stationery store inside the college. Area outside the city is little crowdy.

Course curriculum is same as that of IIT.Other than academics, they will teach you others languages like Spanish,Japanese,Germen etc.They have also taken care for students interests.They have also add one subject for student interest like yoga,Arabics,Photography,Flute etc.We have to do 2 miniprojects per year.Along with miniprojects,We can do internships in 2nd or 3rd year.Exam structure is same as other colleges.They are theories,practical and online examination each semester.Online examinations is having negative marking system.3 marks for right answer and -1/3 for negative.

Placement of vit college is very good.Mostly vit college is famous for it's placement only.They will assure you for 100% placement.For Computer and information technology branch, many good companies visit campus and take huge number of students.The average package for Cs/It student is 6 lakh per annum.And for non IT branches average package is about 4 lakh.Also vit Pune provide interships for the students.The average stipent for intership is 10k per month.

1.Melange -It is a event held every year in vit Pune.In this event,we call students of others colleges also to participate with us.There are many competitions held in this event like dance,Band,Singing,etc.Many games were arranged to entertain the students.We arrange blood camp and other social activities. 2.Vishwakarandak-This event is within the Vit college amongs the 7 branches like entc,it,comp etc.This event is to show the team spirit of each branch.There is compition among 7 branches. 3.Firodiya Karandak-This event is one of famous event in Maharashtra.The student will make one short cinematography on its own and person in front of big celebraties.

I think fee structure for Vishwakarma institute of technology is less than other private colleges in Maharashtra.It is bit feasible.According to me, For open candiddate,fee is about 1.3 lakh per year.For other backward class it is about 65k.And for SC or ST or NT it is about 15k per year.

college provide many types of scholarship.We have talk to scholarship department.They will guide us about the scholarship opted for us.In my case,I got IOCL i.e.indian oil corporation trust scholarship which is given based on my HSC merit.Other than that students can rajashri shahu scholarship for all categories.

There are many extra curricular activities happens in vit college like football,cricket,kho kho competitions held every months.Students can compete with students of other college also.Gender ratio is about 40 as to 60.They also organize Baja competition in which we have make one cart.They also conduct workshop based on academics.

Alumni network is vit is very good.Vit college arranges one meet each year.Many alumini from college are settled in US,some have started their own startup and take the candidates of vit for their startup.Faculty of vit always stays in touch with alumini of vit.They have created one forum for vit alumini in which alumini as well as vit college will updates it's status on their achievements.

Based on rank in JEE examination,I got selected to VIT Pune.It is one of the top ranking private college in Pune.Admission process is very simple.Simply,we have to submit some documents.They will give call your token number,you have submit that documents and Do some procedures and be a VITIAN.

Faculty of vit college is very good.They help student on each and every activity.They will motivate students for internships and research projects.There is separate faculty for theories and practicals.They will prepare students for placement interview.they make every session interactive by taking good discussion.They encourage students to become the sucessfull person.
