I always feel very comfortable when i think about my college life with lots of loving memories, lots of friends infact from all over kerala, some are even from outside kerala which helps me if i am travelling out of my town. I really enjoyed my college life which is as good as a government college is. there is no dress code which makes the campus colourful.

Curriculum is revised every 5 years. Due care is taken to prepare the curriculum with experts in every subject. Lab facilities are top in quality and very spacious lab facilities for mechanical department.

Top MNC´s come yearly for placements. TCS, infosys, accenture, Google, oracle, musigma, mahindra, HCl, HP, Dell,etc much more kerala based companies come to recruit. Indian Army come for recommend for TGC entry.

College organise one technical fest, one cultural fest, one college fest every year organised by students from the college with heavily sponsored events. Many modern cars are invited for technical fest which is a grand event in trivandrum.

Fee structure vary with the government policy. In 2009-2013 batch fee structure was merit - 20,000/year NRI - 1,00,000/yr Management - 65,000/yr Other expense include hostel facility and food which will be approximately 10,000/month.

There is no special scholarship for any students from college but Kerala University provides scholarship for top 5 ranked students from each stream/branch. Their semester fee is stipend by university.

College lacks a good sports facilities, but university stadium is allotted for students for practice. College arrange regular seminars about new technology etc. Political association have a good hold on college, which sometimes is good as well as bad.

There is No lodging facilities for the college, private lodging facilities are available near the college with average amount per month 4500. There are 8 college sanctioned private hostel for boys and girls, all this facilities charge according to the agreement signed with college.

Alumni association is functioning smoothly over the years. Helping providing job opportunities, getting admission aboard. Improving facilities in college and maintaining a strong bond with alumni. A separate association for SCT Dubai unit is also functioning for helping getting good job opportunity in Gulf countries.

You have to take kerala entrance examination held every year. Get rank in top 2000. Choose the course you are interested. Mechanical branch you should come within 1000 rank. Production you have to come within 2000 rank.

Faculties are highly experienced and highly qualified ones. Their years of experience are really helpful in preparing for final year project works. Facilities are very cooperative in academics of students and help in weak subjects.
