Positive remarks of tezpur university is the infrastructure and study environment is very good; green campus, reputed facility, teaching staff working hard for students negative remarks is placed me not so good because of infrastructure of district

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good. My branch is computer science and engineering the teacher of computer science and engineering branch is excellent. they teach nicely. exam process of tezpur university is very good

Placement Experience

Placement of tezpur university is not so good but CSE branch have well placement. Reason behind slow placement is infrastructure of sonitpur District and situation of nearest area. infrastructure of tezpur university was very good but transport of nearest area was not good. university was situated in very inner portion of sonitpur District

College Events

in tezpur university arrange many event like tech festival, independent Day and many more. we participate every festival nicely. the teacher of tezpur university also celebrate nicely. In tezpur university NSS & NCC Take part important role in every festival

Fees and Financial Aid

University offer good scholarship. they help nicely to get scholarship, loan etc. scholarship authority working nicely but if student have one Gap period. then those students don't get any scholarships

Campus Life

There are sufficient sports facilities and equipments in the hostel for the boarders of the hostel. room to carry out different indoor game activities and other extra curricular activities. sports facility of tezpur university is very good

Admission

I m admitted through jee main entrance examination. mainly 60% seat of tezpur university reserved for North East student I have got the seat in tezpur university through merit list of North East student

Faculty

My opinion of computer science branch is. The teacher of CSE branch of tezpur university is very good they teach nicely. the computer lab is very good all facilities have good reputation. all faculty work hard

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.

Tezpur University review

I applied for different nits but couldn't get any because my jee mains percentile was little low , i applied for GFTIs like Assam University and Tezpur University, I got seat in both of them but I chose Tezpur University because it was far more better then Assam University both in terms of academics and infrastructure. My college admits students on the basis of exams like JEE Mains , TUEE , CUET , etc. For the engineering course the students are admitted on the basis of JEE Mains and TUEE scores and the cutoff is not fixed, it changes every year . A look at TU for MBA program

TU is a central government university and the ambience is majestic out here. I personally like the university very much as it creates such a bond, you would have memories forever.
