Remarks

Our practicals equipments are very much old, while some of them are broken. This should be changed because the students are facing problems in doing their respective practicals. Students do not get proper readings because of this and errors occurs in our practicals due to this.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course structure is good depending on the students choice. Every students is free to give their opinion on any thing related to studies. Every lectures and practical classes are also regular. Our teachers also focuses on every student and their aim is that each student should have clear concept of the theory.

Placement Experience

2.5

No, until yet I haven't experienced any of the above. But yes their are opportunities and placement in our college. Many of our senior students have got jobs through the campus placement Also our college provide internships.

College Events

2.5

Our college had arranged various events like freshers party, cultural fest, exhibitions. Like our BBA management students had organized a fest named "Annubhuti " and it was a great success. It was held in the deshpande hall nagpur and the hall was fully filled.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure varies, with the course we want to take like if you are a B. Sc student then it is Rs 3040 for 1 year. For BBA students it is Rs 20,000 whole year, like that it all happens. At last my thinking about fee structure of our college is that it is nor so feasible nor so much expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college have scholarship program but it is not for the students who come under open category, which I did not like. Open category should also have some scholarship programs. The students who are ST,SC have to rs 500 annually. OBC students have to pay rs 900 annually.

Campus Life

4

They are good enough. For extracurricular activities they have NCC,NSS. Also BBA students organized various cultural programs. We also have freshers party to our new comers students. Our college have 50:50 ratio of girls and boys.

Hostel Facilities

2

Our college do not have any hostel facilities. Students who come from outside of the town have to stay at their own. They have to manage everything of their own. This is not good but it is the truth.

Alumni/Alumna

It is nice talking to our seniors, they are much helpful. They also give their books which aren't use to them for us to study. They also helps to clear our doubts and problems which arises to us. Our college also arranges a program of senior junior introduction

Admission

The admission process starts by taking the college prospectus under which there is a admission forms. We have to fill that forms by attaching various documents like marksheet, TC,migration certificate etc. Then we have to submit that forms in the office. After 2-3 days a list of students get displayed according to the respective courses of students and we can see our results that whether we have got admission or not.

Faculty

3.5

Our faculty of teachers are highly qualified and skilled. Some of them have done ph. d in various fields. Some are M. Sc in maths while some are in physics. Also one of our teacher is a very good singer. This also shows how talented they are in their respective fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
