My Journey at UBS

It is the first green business school in India. One understands the value of time and how much work a person can accomplish in 24 hours is what you learn here at UBS.

It is very much reserch driven, we learn through various secondary researches, we do assignments received from Cardiff University, which are very tricky and requires a lot of labor. We learnt time management, command over english, learned Harvard referencing, etc.

The placements are very good. I, myself got placed in Federal Bank, which is undoubtedly one the most integral and reputated banks in India.

The college believes in practical learning and allows the student to use the theoretical managerial concepts taught to them practically. The college has various clubs which helps the student gain experiential learnings which only helps in understanding the concepts better but also increases our interest towards studies.

It is a bit expensive, but then again we get quality out of it. The college accepts the payment in all forms, any transactions made are fully authenticated and have no issues in the processing. The complete fee breakdown is given to you by the college before coming to the campus itself.

I did apply for a scholarship based on my MAT Score, but it was not given as according to the management there was a delay in the submission of the documents.

Campus life is the best at UBS. People are very helpful, medical facility, fooding facility, 24 hours working ATM, and many other things allows the campus to be one of the best campuses in India. The quality standards are amazing that is why the college got NBA accreditation as well.

Hostels are amongst the best parts of the college. You can easily relax after the complete hectic schedule of the lectures. It is Air Conditioned, has geyser and all the electrical appliances are allowed like induction, hair straightner,etc. They are immensely comfortable to live in.

Alumni Network is amazing at UBS, we have a portal especially for Alumnis, which is accessible to juniors also in case there re any job openings in their respective companies.

I entered this college through my friend. He was also in the Cardiff Programme so he let me know that this course in specific developed his analytical skills and allowed him to manage his PGDM curriculum with Cardiff MBA curriculum. Cardiff allows the students to ha gain international insights to the subjects.

The lectures are very communicative. We have around 5 lectures per day. It gives a complete rigid routine of pursuing a course like MBA. The lectures had quality in them, we learnt various industrial aspects of the economy in India and round the world.
