Remarks
JIS College Of Engineering has the best infrastructure among all the colleges in West Bengal according to me. Teachers and staff are very helpful and communication between students and them is very powerful.
Course Curriculum Overview
As we all know, in engineering colleges, there are eight semesters that consist of a B.Tech level. Each semester comprises five to six subjects of each their respective departments and non-departmental subjects also.
Placement Experience
I have passed M. Tech from JIS College Of Engineering in 2019 and during the process, I have received a scholarship from AICTE by College every month. Placements and job opportunities are nearly 100% in every department.
College Events
A Technical Fest was celebrated every year in the month of March for every student who can expand their creative idea to reality and bring them to the audience. Various TV channels come across for interviews during the fest. Teachers' Day is also celebrated in a huge way.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. Approximately, around Rs. 45000 for each semester's fees. There is also a facility for the minority community if they can match the criteria for the reduction of the academic fees. Also, a loan facility is available.
Fees and Financial Aid
I can tell about the scholarship structure only as I got it from AICTE during my M. Tech. My college offered me a scholarship during M. Tech because I have cleared the GATE exam before this. Every scholarship came in time with no delay in each month.
Campus Life
From the first day of my college, I did not see any type of arguments like ragging, sexual harassment, politics, gender/race/religion equality. On the college campus, there was no such behavior recorded. A well-disciplined posture was always maintained.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are very much helpful and well-disciplined also. Every semester, I talk to them on the college campus and get advice from them. Their advice helps me a lot to succeed in academic situations.
Admission
I got admission to my college through JEE(MAIN) exam. By virtue of this, I got an All-India rank, which suggests me to my college in counseling. My stream was Electrical Engineering as my love for this department is enormous.
Faculty
Faculty are the most important thing in every college and I am blessed that my college JIS College Of Engineering has the most educated teachers. They are very much helpful in every possible way. Communication with them is very good.
