Good Teaching and Ambience

On a positive note, I really like the academic teaching methods that are used here when compared to other colleges in South India where the teaching is bad. On a negative note, I really wish that the college had not imposed uniforms for the students.

The Course Curriculum is set by Kerala Technological University(KTU) at the moment. In the coming years, this college is said to become autonomous and set their own curriculum and their exam structure, including the question papers and evaluation, also the date and time of exam.

Job interviews come along in the seventh semester and students can go for interviews on campus and get selected. The college also provides internships during the non-college working days for those who need experience as an intern. And the students get awarded a number of activity points for any sort of activities that they do in the college and other programs as well.

First of all, we have the main College Festival that takes place every year in the first half. Followed by that each department of the college has its own separate festivals to celebrate their findings and achievements in that particular field. A various number of exhibitions and workshops take place for the students all throughout the year.

The fee structure for 1 academic year ranges from about 75000 to 82000 depending on the year. The students with exceptional marks can avail of concession scholarships in the fees. Compared to the other colleges this fee structure is feasible.

I personally have not obtained any e scholarship from the college. But scholarship can be availed if your Academics are really good or you are really good in sports. This college puts a great influence on the basketball sport and they always have an eye out for good basketball players.

As I said earlier this college is one of the most leading basketball teams in South India. They participate in a range of competitions across South India and managed to beg the top positions in all of them.

They are hostels available for both men and women near the campus and it is also run by the college as well. The infrastructure of the hostel and the facilities are well maintained. Hostel seats are adequate and readily available for both men and women. Are the hostel rooms are well maintained and it has a very good ambiance for students and for studying as well. The students also have a friendly atmosphere in the hostel.

The help we can receive from the alumni network and senior students are really great. They have been really helpful in choosing the elective subjects and what we need to do for the projects. They have been always helpful with whatever ideas we have.

First, you have to write KEAM Entrance Exam. Then when the results of that come out, you have to generate a rank based on your 12th mark and your KEAM score and then apply to this college. Then if you fall in the criteria you can take admission here.

They are well dedicated and sincere staff always ready to give a helping hand to students. They also have an opinion and guidance towards whatever ideas the students bring towards them. They give proper notes and teach well here.
