All over, college is well rated and comes 5th position in kolkata for accounts honours college. That's why every year almost more than 2k students get admitted in college for all courses in college. And every year 97% students pass out in examination.
Course Curriculum Overview
We had to attend lectures of professor in college and had yearly examination for 3years. Our college is only known for commerce courses only and well renounced in city. Almost every year 1000 or more students get admission for accounts honours and many more students goes for another courses like BA bsc etc.
Placement Experience
For placement many companies come every year to pick several students for their companies. For eg- icici life Insurance, TCS, Wipro, and other private Ltd companies come every year to take graduate students after completion of their course.
College Events
In west bengal, there are many festival to celebrate and our college celebrate almost of them. Either by giving holiday or by celebrating in college. On children's day college every plans for a trip for one day two days out side the city for entertainment of the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is a government college, so the fees is feasible not too expensive. For three years of bcom accounts honours my family paid 20k for the course. Though not in one time. Every year by breaking it into 3years.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I didn't get any scholarships from college, but yes college do provide scholarship to the students of the college. Many of my friends got scholarship for their college course. Government College do provide these type facilites.
Campus Life
Sports day is celebrated in our college ground every year, and throughout the year students go for tournament for the college and win prizes for the college. Students go for regional, state and national for different sports all over the india and West Bengal.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, they are helpful if we get to contact them. For final years projects and studies senior students helps a lot to junior student or new admitted students. They don't do ragging with junior but are very much helpful.
Admission
I wanted to opt commerce as my main subject, so after completion of 12th by merit list my name came on it as because i applied for the course online. For official documents verification i had to go to college and done the documentation and got admission in this college.
Faculty
They are good in teaching and giving lecturers and completing syllabus by on time. Faculty are very supportive to students and talks freely with student like friends and helps us when we are in trouble with any subject or office work.
