New opprtunities

All and all its a good college with various opportunities and it depends on you how you handle it and make the best out of it. Although the college is situated in maharashtra but you can feel the essence of the country in that college being one of the oldest college it helds a good reputation in the city.

The curriculum is quite good and also the faculty members but what the college lack's is the practical experience. Now though the college has changed and they are updating the labs continuously so it kinds of feel good that now the upcoming batches might get some good experience.

Placements are the most uncertain things. Sometimes you get it sometimes not. But yes it depends on you also if you have that capabilities and knowledge in you the college give you multiple opportunity to grow. I got placed in 3 companies. No the college doesn't provide you internship but guide to have you one.

There are multiple events happen in college. 1. Republic days celebration 2. Kite festival. 3. Garba night. 4. Individual branch event like CESA for civil engineering. MESA For mechanical engineering. And many more. 5. Annual gathering NAVONMESH. 6. fresher's and farewell parties. 7. Annual sports meet.

The fees structure varies with category system. Like. General,OBC, ST,SC It's quite reasonable at my time but as the fees structure revise every year so it might be reasonable for and not for some. If you belong to reversed catagory then the college is most reasonable for you.

If you belong to minority the college have a facility of fees waiver. And also if you belong to reserved categories like ST, ST and OBC you can have fees waiver upto 50 to 100 %. The college have certain seats for TFWS tuition fees waiver schemes where you don't need to pay the tuition fees.

The college provide you opportunities for the extracurricular activities but they actually don't have that much good facilities in college for sports. Although the college teams always performs good in many sports and won many competition. The college doesn't provide proper coaches but the students practice on their own.

No, I have not opted for the hotel facilities. And the college doesn't have a proper hostel for boys or girls they have a separate partially owned hostel where students for different institution also stay.

Yes the college have many alumni in various countries and have a good network and they help the students to get good job opportunities in different parts of the world. Many of the alumni have their personal chat group which are very much active and help you to bring good career opportunities.

I have appeared for an exam called MHT-CET and after results were there was a certain cut off marks and I scored one of the highest in that college. So I got admission in the first allotment round. I had many options but as I don't belong to maharashtra but I feel the value of education in maharashtra is good as compared to MP. So I shifted to Nagpur for my graduation. And also the college is of 1983 somehow it added some more values to the college.

The faculty member are very much qualified and they are the most experienced once. They have good theoretical as well as practical knowledge but time is the factor which doesn't let them to explain more and more on any topic. The faculties are very friendly too during exam times if want to visit them, they allow you to call them and clarify things and doubts.
