The college is good. It needs to let students organise things they want on their own and rather not stop them from doing it
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is a little outdated but is pretty good for beginers who are just starting to learn what CSE is. We have college all week days from 9 to around 4. Sometimes it is 9 to 6 even if we have labs
Placement Experience
Its good. Almost all the students eligible for placement are selected. Companies like TCS, Capgeminj, Amazon,Microsoft,Wipro,Infosys visit the campus. Main placement is mainly fone by mass recruiters. College does not provide any internship.
College Events
We have Daksh which is a technical event with tech quizzes to entrepreneurship campaigns to a lot of things Then we have eclecia. This is the cultural fest. It has band performances, solo performances, talent hint and a lot more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasable. The total fees is 3. 8 lakh. All the semesters in different years have different fees. It starts with 44k in 1st year and every year the fees increases by 1100. There is also an admission fees of 28k
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides loan facilities and also fee waivers to students woth low income The waiver is Rs 5000 per month. There are also several tests and exams one can give to get scholarship
Campus Life
The college has college bands, college teams for all the sprots from cricket to football to basketball to tug of war. The labs in our college can only be accessed during classes. If we have work we need to bring laptops
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very helpful. Our college has a lot of students outside west bengal and they arr never treated differently and helped at all things possible There is no ragging in our college.
Admission
I got the college through the WBJEE exam. I secured the stream based on my rank. The counselling in wbjee is done in computerized process where all rank holders give their prefered stream and college sereally and the computer chooses the topmost kne possible based on seat availability. There are no interviews.
Faculty
Thr faculty is pretty good and they put in effort to teach. They take classes regularly. They dobt skip classes They dont send students or their undergrads to take classes. They are helpful if we go to them personally
