This college is a quite good choice for studing engineering. The college strictly maintain 75 percent attendance of the students. The fee structure of this not so high as compared to the other private engineering colleges. The most interesting fact about the is that it started digital pedagogy for teaching the students.

Curriculum of this college is satisfactory. Since it is an autonomous college, the curriculum followed in this college is a bit different from that of the MAKAUT. Every year two semester exam are taken. Routine of the MAKAUT is not followed.

Placement record of this college is quite well. Most of the students of IT, CSE, ECE students get job while campus drive organized by the college. Number of companies visit the colleges of JIS group. I have not attended any internship form this College. Final year students get the opportunities for the internships.

College celebrates many events. Few of among are -- Tech Fest Convocation Day Annual Sports Alumni Meeting Annual Parent-Teacher Meeting etc. All the national days are also celebrated. Seminars, conferences, workshops, industrial visits are frequently organised by the individual departments of college.

Yes. It is feasible. Arround 4lakh its costs for B. Tech. of a general entry student. At the time of admissions arround Rs. 85000 is charged by the college. After that Rs 44500 - Rs 48000 is charged for the next 7 semester as tution fee. Examination fee of every semester is charged in each semester semester.

College allows student loan from the bank partners. College also advertises scholarships for the students from the other states rather than West Bengal. There is a Student Welfare Committee which is responsible for considering tution fee concession of meritorious poor students. Students of ghis college can apply for all the scholarships provided by the government.

Extracurricular activities of this college is very well. Annual sports is organized. There are many sorts of athletic competition are there. Football, Cricket tournament are organized eventually. The college has clubs for music and culture, photography and trekking, NCC, NSS etc.

Alumni network of the is very strong. There are number of alumnies of this college placed if different companies and sectors. Every year an alumni meeting is organized. A few seminars with the selected alumnies are arranged by the college.

I attempted CEE-AMPAI. Based on my engineering rank I got admission in JISCE after attenending spot counselling at my nearest centre ( Durgapur). One can get admissions in this college through WBJEE also.

The faculties are very good in qualifications and teaching skill. More over I found that they are very much helpful to the students. Most of the faculties maintain a friendly relationship with the students.
