A college that imparts brotherhood

There are lots of positive remarks rather than negative ones I should mention. There will always be pros and cons to everything. The college has unity among the students and also the faculties. I still visit my college whenever I get some time. It's definitely one of the best places to be in.

The course in the college is up to mark. But personally I feel that few of the latest digital technologies can be included so that the students become future ready and able to learn from the scratch.

The placements in recent years is a big postive for the college. There are lots of companies which are coming for on or pool campus drives for recruitment. However, top peoduct based MNCs are yet to arrive for a recruitment.

There are many events which take place in the college every year. Some of them are cultural fest, technical fest, robotics, robo games, sports, viswakarma puja, Holi etc. I've mentioned just few of them. There are many more.

The fee structure is feasible. Since this is a government organisation, so the fees structure is quite lesser as compared to other private institutions in the state. For CS, it is ?6000 per semesters + ?1000 exam fee.

Nope, I have not availed any loans or scholarships from my college. But as fas as I know, the government gives Tuition fee waiver scheme for the needy students. Also many caste based scholarships are also available that can can be availed.

There is no political party inside the college. there is student welfare association in the college which is government registered. The college has zero tolerance to racism, abusal activities. There are more male students than female students.

Yes. There is an official alumni website and also the seniors are very helpful. An alumni meet takes place every year for all the departments where most of alumnis and guests take part. The seniors are well placed in their domain.

I got admitted via WBJEE examination. I got Computer science and engineering (CSE). The admission process is pretty simple. It is basically conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. There are 3 rounds and then the last is decentralised counseling round.

The facilities in our college is average. Yes, there are few good faculties available. But rest can also be improved a bit in order to impart knowledge to fresh minds. This is one area which can be improved.
