APC COLLEGE PG CHEMISTRY

Positive remark---. National Assessment and Accreditation Council 'A' grade college. Negative remark-- I personally find laboratory needs some improvement and there is need for some advance instruments.

Post graduation course on Chemistry is a two year course( if there is no supplement). It's divided into four semester system. Each semester has total marks of 250. Total marks 4*250= 1000. If someone is unable to qualify in 1st semester he or she would get an opportunity to clear supplies in upcoming year after 3ed semester. similarly if anyone have supplies in second semester he or she would get an opportunity to clear after 4th semester. But if anyone have supplies in second or fourth semester he or she needs to drop one year and clear their exam to get succes. This whole course is based on West Bengal state University.

Currently college don't offer any internship program but every year TCS COMPANY come to recruit fresher. College arrange scholarship like meri mean cum scholarships and minority scholarship and Kanyashree scholarship which are funded by state government.

There are some culture events occur in our college campus. 1. Celebration of College foundation day- There are some events of songs and quiz competition. There every student can participate in different events. 2. Fresheres welcome celebration-- Senior students warm heartedly welcome new comer, there are some interaction and get together and some cultural event. Many well known singers come every year invthis college festival. 3. Teachers's day celebration 4. Saraswati puja celebration

Fees structure is little bit expensive than government college but smaller than NIT Or IITs. At the admission i paid 17550 rupees which is considered as admission and 1st semester fees. After that you need to pay 14550 rupees for remaining three semester.

College arrange scholarship like meri mean cum scholarships and minority scholarship and Kanyashree scholarship which are funded by state government. I don't know about loans availability if there is any.

There are many things related to extracurricular activities like a) Basketball Game - Our college won many inter college competition and went to play for district level. b) Football competition Gender ratiobis almost equal. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. There are no racicism or cast based discrimination. Most of the students come from average middle class family to study in this college.

This is the best thing about this college. After getting admission i went to meet the senior student of my course. They helped me a lot knowing the syllabus pattern, notes, and all required things related to course work like practical, project etc. Because of them i get a vision in advance during my study.

I got selected in APC COLLEGE by merit list of graduation marks. I had to apply for admission in their website www. apccollege. ac. in with in admission date. (probably in the month of July) After that they publish a merit list in their pg portal of college website. There are there round of councilling of the students according to merit list.

There are lack of faculty for PG couese in APC COLLEGE. But don't worry about the availability of teachers because college authority arrange best guest faculty who has completed post doctorate from different foreign and local University. They take full responsibility to complete course before time schedule of exam and also arrange extra classes for doubt clearing purpose.
