my college

College have various fields in arts science and commerce. Having various languages and subjects to get expell in and making career in their field. The college have also parking area and also some restaurants nearby with fast food facilities also. Teaching faculty is excellent as mentioned above. There is one boys hotel not owned by the college where some students from far areas stay for there graduation convenience.

Exams are conducted twice a year that is two semester per year and the entire Bcom course is divided in three years having two semesters each in all three years. Total subjects to be done in entire three year is 20. First year we had 7 subjects followed by 6 subjects each in second and third year of Bcom. The exams were conducted in our college itself making it convenient to travel and time management. Exam structure was good enough having two invigilator very little scope of copy.

Our college is famous for placement activities as many reputed firms take brilliant students from our college and provide them with nice package and other amenities with other allowances. There were college campus presented in which ITC, EY BIG FOURS, and many other such reputed firm came. But as I was persuing CA so have not participated in the campus placement. Four to five of my friends have got placement some in ITC and some in EY CA firm and some in hospitality service companies and there experience in those Company are positive with one of them getting promoted in ITC within three months of joining the same.

Ganesh chaturthi is celebrated with grand program including DJ's and aarti done each day and visarjan is almost enjoyed by everyone including staff and students. Vision's is the fest that college organizes with the help of volunteers for two days. And there are other small events taking place like box cricket, badminton matches duo, cultural activities in which dance performance are carried out.

The fee structure for Bcom is ranging around 3500 to 5000 starting from first year onwards till last third year. Composition lab fees, computer fees, development fees, tuition fees, parking fees, canteen fees, refreshment fees, Clarion articles fees, lab coat fees, endowment fund, emergency funds, disaster management fund. Are the components of our fees structure.

There are many scholarship offered from the college which are majorly for science field. Which include some prize cash money scholarship or some other fees reducing scholarship. Various other government provided scholarship also exists. There are also traveling concessions given to students for rail fare and bus fares. For which forms are needed to be filled up and given to college.

Gender ratio is almost female/male 85:100. Students come from various areas of Mumbai right from colaba than and virar and vasai. Major student strength in our college is south Indian. There is no racism or castism in our college and talking about majority south Indian student is just because it is a south Indian education society trust having special quota in their college. Giving a review on the politics in college to some extent it is in regards to the admission process wherein seats are reserved for some special ones. Labs in our college have been constructed well including AC library with huge no. Of books for reference.

PG's come with a average rental amount of 12000/- to 15000 rupees. There is also a boys hostel just behind college which is not owned by the college but provide a facility to stay for students and where non veg is not at all allowed. College of it's own doesn't have hostel facilities for students and staff.

Some of my brother's friend including my elder brother were from this same college and is now at great position working with some of the reputed companies and in different field. They have also referred me to join this college so that I can clear CA as well as have a degree with a reputed college of Mumbai.

I am persuing CA course so have simultaneously joined BCom also my SSC and HSC percentage was good enough to get admission as stated above. And got in the merit list. In interview they asked me about my academic achievement in schools and junior college and what my parents do where they work why I joined this college who referred me this college why you choose Commerce as your field and many more questions.

Qualified in the subject field and very knowledgeable person. One of my favorite professor was Krishnan Sir who thought me two subjects one was advertising and another was accounts. This professor has worked earlier with many firm's and have good knowledge base and also provide us various examples in our subjects for better understanding of the concepts. Talking about other professors they were also well qualified in their field and subjects our college BCOM HOD was teaching us commerce subject for entire three years and had a well experience in this field.
