Overview of mine

College was good because we were the first batch there. We had learnt several process and practical process. College Teachers were friendly. But college should took new as well as experienced faculties more according to teaching quality.

B. Tech course is for 4 years. It is quite good. There are pressure in practical. So, one might get less time for preparation. So, one must devide the whole time with a supreme idea. There were two semesters i. e. 8 semesters in 4 years.

Placements & job opportunities were not good for core branches like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering. But Placements & job opportunities were better for IT streams like Computer engineering, Electronic Communicationengineering etc.

We had celebrated college Fest in first year. Then Mechanical Engineerering branch had celebrated a new event with only our department. The name of the event was Mechostav. Sunil Gavaskar was invited once.

Fee structure was divided into 8 semesters. Semester fee was around 37000 to 40000. Actually total 3 lakh and 70 thousand. West Bengal JEE board was mentioned a fixed rate for all the colleges. WBJEE Board took 40000 another once at a time.

I got Merit Cum Means Scholarship i. e. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship from West Bengal Government as I got above 75 percent no in Higher Secondary. Also I got an Educational loan from United Bank of India, Egra.

Sports were held in our college. All the students from every departments parcipated, Also other colleges had invited to play with us. But play ground was not so big. Football, Short-hand cricket, Tennis were played there.

There was no hostel infrastructure and facilities for Techno India, Salt Lake. I took a rent in Kestopur near Salt Lake. It took 5000 per month for meal, rent, electric charge, water. Now, It will be different as market value.

Seniors were very helpful. We were the first batch there. So, we had no seniors. But seniors from other departments helped us. Ragging was not a part of these College. They also helped about study for books as well as teachers.

I had Qulafied WBJEE and got a rank. Then I sat on e-councilling. I got Mechanical branch in Techno India, Salt Lake. Lastly, I have admitted to the college. Then I came to the college with several documents which were mentioned in College website.

Faculties were good. We had faced a problem of less laboratories. Labotary assistants were not so capable for the practical idea. Actually problem was that we are the first batch in this branch in the college.
