Remarks
The positive points of this college are there's not a lot of focus on just studies, you get to discover your interests. Also, the teachers are awesome. The bad points of this college are it being extremely expensive and also it gives a lot of admission on management so the crowd might not be so good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is pretty good if you love science then go for it and not because of any pressure. In MIT-WPU they have a trimester system. That is the syllabus is divided into 3 parts. And you have 3 final exams and 3 mid-term exams.
Placement Experience
The highest package is 25 lakh per annum. And average package is 6 lakh per annum. You get to do many internships in the third year which is pretty awesome You get Stipend or not is based on the company in which you intern.
College Events
There are many fests celebrated here like TEXEPHYR and TEDx, Sports Summit. The main cultural fest in this college is the aarohan. In which many celebrities come and a large number of events take place.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure in MIT-WPU is pretty expensive after it got its own university. It is 295000 per year for all four years. And this is without hostel. Hostel fees with food are around 1. 3 lakh per year. It is difficult for a middle-class family to afford these fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarships given based on your marks in entrance exams like JEE mains and MHTCET in the first year. And in the rest years you get scholarships based on your marks in previous years. Like if you need a scholarship in the 2nd year you get it based on your marks in the 1st year.
Campus Life
Many unofficial sports events are organized here by senior students which are pretty good having affordable registration fees and good cash prizes. The labs are also well managed with working types of equipment and helpful staff.
Alumni/Alumna
There is little contact with the seniors. The seniors are helpful but there are not many official events where you can interact with seniors. But you can join clubs and groups to interact and learn from seniors.
Admission
You have to appear in exams like jee mains and mhtcet. Then apply for admission online and pay the application fee. Then go to MIT-WPU on admission date where they prepare a merit list based on the marks in cet and jee and then give admission in your required branch.
Faculty
The faculty is very experienced with many years of experience and also cares if every student is getting the concept or not. There's also a lot of faculties so the faculty-to-student ratio is pretty good.
