Life In My college

My experience in college is very satisfactory. I used to participate in all the fest and forums to get maximum experience of my college life. Collected many certificate of organising, participating. And perform in farewell as well.

The Exam structure is semester wise. There are total 8 semester exams and 2 sessional exam in each semester at that time. the extra curriculum activities were also well planned and periodic. The labs are good and maintained.

The placements of IT and CS branch is good but for other branches,the placements is not so good. Adobe, TCS and many others with a package of 4 lakhs to 5 lakhs per annum is offered. For others branches the packages fall on 2. 4 lakhs.

We had Anubhuti the culture fest, Tvaran the sport fest, and effulgence tech fest. All the three events are national level. Various colleges perform and participate in the fest. Prize money is also awarded to the winner of the events.

The college per year fees is approx 1,00,000 to 1,20,000. Per year fees of all branches except IT is 72000 and for IT is 87000. Hostel fees are 10000 per year and mess fees are 14000 per semester. And there is no other extra expenses.

Scholarship is provided to the students whose family annual income is less than 2 lakh per annum. In order to get the scholarship,students have to provide their income certificate. There are separate scholarship for the top merit list students.

There are various workshop and seminars held in my college. Gender ratio are not so balanced. Fresher's party are organized for the first year students and farewell party is organised for the final year students.

Hostel are good and well painted. Number of persons in room are 4 in first year and 3 in second year, 2 in third year and 1 in final year. All the room have bed, table and chairs for each student and wifi connectivity is available in all the Hostel.

Alumni are in contact with the college. Current college student used to talk to the alumni and update their bio-data in college. Alumni are also on touch through various social media platforms. The alumni meet are also conducted in our college.

I got admission through UPTU(now AKTU) entrance exam. I always wanted to be a engineer so I decided to take part in entrance exam and I succeed. After passing the exam,I had to go through online counseling and lock the prefer colleges.

College faculty is very supportive. They are strict and punctual. They listen to students and conducts various seminar and labs to embrace student knowledge. The Director of the college is also very supportive. Maximum of the faculty is PhD.
