Course Curriculum Overview

Exam structure is samaster wise. During whole course 8 samester exam will be taken. It will takes four years. Every student must pass the each samester. And samester exam lab exam and theory exam both will be taken.

Placement Experience

Placement in our college is quite good but not so good. In my college only few companies come. As examples TCS etc. Our college also provide internship as the senior told me. I m in first year so I can't tell about internship.

College Events

Our college organise so many event, fest, carnival. In our college fee will be taken in start of samester. The fees of all samester varries but average fee of each samester almost 47000. and some other fees that is exam fee and fee also taken.

Admission

West Bengal board conducts engineering examination. In this exam, the rank holder students gets admission according to their rank. Also it takes admission Through the jee main. through WBJEE exam I got admission in this college.

Faculty

Some of the faculty of each branch is PHD in their subject. And all faculty are mastered in their subject. Faculty are very helpful and kind hearted. All faculty are always ready to help the students.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
