FISAT-Review

My college is my second home. I have been very happy with my colleagues in all respects be it studies, extracurricular activities, teachers, friends, etc. Overall in my college, learning is a completely different experience.

Our college filled the KTU curriculum. The entire program is of 4 years which consists of 2 semesters each year comprising a total of 8 semesters. The exam is conducted by the university each semester. Furthermore, 2 sub-exams are conducted by the college each semester.

The college offers placements from over 50 companies in India as well as abroad including Shobha Builders, Wipro, TATA consultancies, etc. Before the actual placements are conducted, there is a placement training program that makes the students ready for the actual placement.

The college conducts various tech fests, artifacts, etc to cherish the various extracurricular activities of students. The tech and arts fests last for a minimum of 2 days and are like a festive season for the students. Most events are conducted in even semesters.

The college belongs to the Federal Bank and has a feasible fee structure. The college has a massive reduction in fees for the backward community students and also provides free laptops to these students. The college also provides scholarships to bright and hard-working students.

Since I belong to the backward community, my college has offered me a 90% reduction in the annual fees. I don't have to pay any hostel fees and have a reduction of 1900 rupees from the mess fee each month. For others, the college fee annually is 75000 and the hostel fee per sem is 9600.

The college has a large and properly maintained ground which is used by the students to play various games. Also, the college has a volleyball court as well as a basketball court. Also, a sports fest is conducted every year in the college and the participants are given medals and trophies.

The hostel is very disciplined and neat. The hostel room has a maximum of 3 inmates. The hostel room and bathroom are cleaned every week by staff. The wardens are also kind and understanding. The hostel mess is also really good.

Every year alumni meet is conducted every year in the college. Also, my personal experience with the seniors had been very good. Our campus is a completely anti-ragging campus that offers a safe and healthy environment to its students.

First I wrote the KEAM entrance exam. Based on the order of preference of colleges I gave for my KEAM college selection list. Once I got my first allotment of KEAM in this college, I went to the college with the necessary documents and got my admission. Since I belonged to the Backward caste, I got a reduction in fees even though my college is a private one.

The faculty of my college is highly educated and experienced. They have complete knowledge of the subjects they teach and communicate the study material in an easy-to-understand fashion which enables the students to grasp the concepts all at once.
