College is good for engineering

The infrastructure of the 2nd campus is not good. In the seniors batch for labs so many types of equipment are not available. We had to travel from the 2nd campus to the first campus by bus which the college provides to attend labs on 1st campus.

Courses here are fully compatible with the gate syllabus and it's easy to write gate exams if they are prepared properly for semesters exams. Exams are also occurring semester-wise and in sequence like senior batch, exam conducted earlier and juniors batch exam conducted after that in sequence.

Placement and job opportunities in this college are good but only for the software domain, core companies visit very little in number. Jobs were provided by this college are only from a software company. A very little number of core company visits for placement drive. Most core branches students pass out with any jobs from this college. No, this college does not provide any internships.

Events are celebrated in there is a cultural fest where students participate in different events and competitions where they compete with each other to get the top position and earn points for their branch.

The fee structure of this college is not much expensive when we compare it with other private colleges or Nits or iit's. But it's expansive when we compare the amount from other government colleges at the state level.

Mostly this college provides scholarship to those students are from Kerala. For that scholarship outside Kerala, students are not eligible even they used to provide free laptops but only for students from Kerala.

Here in this college politics dominates over all other activities. Even college faculties were supports polities in this college. Sometimes due to different party support students used to fight over any worthless issue.

Hostel facilities are provided are according to the student's merit. They reserved mostly seats of Kerala students. Students from outside Kerala had to live in private places like taking a flat on rent or pg.

Programs like inviting alumni for seminars or for job offers, nothing like this ever happened in this college in my 4 years academics. Even after passing out from this college they never try to contact you for any alumni meeting or any event

I got admission after qualifying in their exams and passed with a good rank. The process of admission is after getting good rank students to have to appear for counseling and after getting the branch from our choice they start verifying documents for further admission process.

Here most faculties are guest lecturers or on a contract basis, very few of them were permanent faculties. Their knowledge level is average. Mostly what they do is copying concepts from textbooks while teaching and without any explanation. We had to study by ourselves for exams. Even they never complete syllabus from any topics for the exam.
