Overall Good College

College is overall good with good academics, events, proper exposure. The positive points include its good course structure, talented faculty members and a good infrastructure. It also provides better pre industry experience and makes us prepared for future. The negative points include the hectic classes schedule with low placement or internship opportunities.

The course structure is good overall. We are exposed to practical with theory making understand the concepts better. There are workshops conducted to have a better and pre-experience of industry life. The faculty members are also good. Starting from 1st semester to 8th semester we are prepared well to join the industry.

Myself being from 3rd year can't say much about placement and internship. What I know is the companies do come but don't offer high package. Our college has good touch with infosys and other such companies and thus help us to resolve issues related to their online exams such as infytq and hackwithinfy. We get a little notifications about the internship opportunities. We need to apply on our own for it. The companies that come don't offer much higher package but yes from our college the number of intake are high almost reaching 100%.

The college host many events which include technical as well as cultural events also. The college consists of various clubs like the robotics club, meta academics club, cricket club etc. These clubs hosts various events related to their club. The college conducts a techfest each year which consists of various events related to technical, cultural and personality development events. Every year a event called zygon is conducted which is a cultutal and social event which consists of anchoring, dance and music with high number of participation with gathering also. This time college conducted its first Tedx event and is going to conduct a MUN for the second time.

The annual fees counts to a total of Rs1, 45, 000 approximately. These exclude the hostel and canteen fees. The fee structure is average on an all which is not too high and not too low. There are some extra fees need to be paid for pre placement training which the student are bound to pay. Then apart from this students belonging to the club they choose have to pay the fees for the club as per the club. The college includes other fees also such as CSI membership, IEEE fees and wifi fees which add onto the overall fee structure.

HDFC finance facilities were available at the time of admission. I had not availed any such facility so dont have much knowledge of it. The college offers insurance in case of any physical health issues which is a great help for us.

The college conducts a good number of Workshops and seminars starting from the very 1st semester. The labs are good with properly installed system. They offer new and good experience to learn practical skills with the theory. College has different labs as per the different subjects having to proper software and system installed as per the lab category. College conducts inter sports and intra sports event each year which include various sports like volleyball, cricket, football etc. College supports indoor sports also with outdoor sports. The college conducted a hackathon this time which make us industry ready. The college treat each student as per a student only and there is not biasing based on gender or any religion.

College provide us a good opportunity for us to have a touch with alumni and seniors. College in 3rd year provide a industry talk in which the passed out students come and share their experience in industry and what need to be done to be prepared for the placement and interview. After each talk session we are provided with interaction with the alumni to clear our doubts.

I got admission based on my rank of JEE mains. I had a interest in computer science and because of that I thought of pursuing Btech in Computer Science and Engineering and the college being near to my home and a college with good academics I chose this college. Anyone can take admission in this college by giving the JEE mains and the branch is allocated by crossing certain cutoff for each branch.

Faculty of the college is good specially for the CSE branch. They have a great experience in their field and have a good knowledge of the subject but there are exceptions also. Many faculty members make us teach the things which make us ready for industry also.
