Amit Anil Zope's Review On SSBT's College Of Engineering And Technology, Jalgaon

There is nothing positive about this college. Experience here is worst than hell. They are master to ruin your life. My precious college life is wasted here which is no one can give back to me not even god. If you want to do engineering and this is only one college left in the universe then also don't do engineering here specially from SSBT Mechanical. I have mercy toward next generation because you are the future of India.Such kind of institutes must be shutdown because they are just exergy in our system. Saying SSBT Mechanical as educational institute is insulting because it is just like circus which not educated people just train people with very bad way. I don't want as mine life ruin your should be, therefore I give such detail review by inventing 2-3 hourse of my preciousc life. I kindly requesting to you don't take admission in SSBT Mechanical at any cost.

Course Curriculum is that much old that even our teachers of teachers learn same things. The syllabus is very old and boring. There is no possibility of research according to culture of college. No one taking about new ideas here. Everything is to much mechanical and emotionless including teaching. Exam is held in middle of summer where temperature reach at 48 degree Celsius even for survival there is struggle and we have to study in that duration and go to the exam which not happy process.Our Lab is just for showoff teachers teach only theory, with that old syllabus old experiments and old instruments what could be expect from them more.

College organizes technical event milestone & science festival, expert lecture series such as FEAST & Gatherings and many more. Everyone can participate in that event but mechanical department student can't technically because they have to fulfilled criteria of 75% attendance. 75% attendance is so much strong that student can't do anything in college life except lectures.

Yes, According to the pain they given to us, level of teaching and no placement assistance this is very expensive way to take engineering degree. Tuition Fees - 34580 Dev. Fund - 6916 University Fee-200 Interim Fee- 33461 Bus pass and transport charges- 6000 gymkhana fee - 200 Exam Fee- 1685 Manuals and Submission expense- 600 Total Fees- 83642

Mainly student get scholarship by state government only if they are OBC, SC, ST, NT and EBC. If Student are OBC & EBC then around 50% fee is paid by state government and student have to pay only 43000rs. If student is SC, ST and NT then more than 80% of fee is paid by state government and student only have to pay around 10000rs only.If you are talented and you get admission on the basis of your score on TFWS seat then more than 90% of fee is paid by state government and student only have to pay 6000rs.

Yes, there are extracurricular activities but as I mentioned earlier that is only for other departments except SSBT Mechanical department. I think they though we are not human or we have no right to enjoy college life or they might be extra taken care of us whatever the reason is but actually they ruin our college life badly. No one can return us that time to us, not even God, So our HOD must know he is ordinary human but I thing anyone who are enjoying his dictatorship who can't see such things. Our HOD shutdown every club, every society and events. Technically he can say I didn't shutoff this but his one rule of 75% attendance compulsion in every individual subject did it. Here policies is like student only have to do lectures in college life nothing else.

There is no such network of alumni and seniors. There is no interaction with inter-department students because no such event happened by which they can gather and they get a chance of know each other. seniors not know juniors, same class students but just there division are different such student even don't know each other. Everyone is busy to doing lecture and follow the non sense rules.

I have no options because I had very less marks and I didn't want to waste my year to repeat JEE exam, I just want to do my engineering earlier. On the basis of my score I get all below average colleges out of city this college was number one in my city at least in peoples perception. I got admission in this college on the basis of state board of Maharashtra & JEE combine score. Maharashtra state government organizes CAP round with the help of that CAP rounds I get this college and I taken admission here.

In our college being PHD is very common it doen't mean they are intelligent and eager to teach, PHD is just a instrument to show there glory of ego. Our management force them to teach only in English we thing that learning in English could improve our interview skills this is huge blunder because our faculty is not even able convey teaching in there mother-tong and now they have to convey this in English. Listen there English is very horrible, terrible and painful experience, So teaching and learning experience is here not joyful it is even worst that hell punishments. Our college faculty thought they didn't get appropriate salary which is wrong they get but in there perception it is law therefore they have no motivation to teach many of them have there private coaching classes at home for extra income and there is race to pull college students to there classes. As they only have to take 2 to 3 lectures and sometime one practical they have tremendous time to do politics in college. For satisfying there ego they can do any type of politics, they can go any level, So the war of there ego there is a student who are actually suffer a lot. Yes there are few teachers who are very much talented and willing to teach they have huge passion of teaching but the culture of bad politics didn't allow them.
