Remarks
College is good in area ranking in top 3 colleges of AKTU. The fee is a little bit expensive but if anyone wants to really study college also cooperate for students. The result of college is sound ful each year and students are also hardworking and national level tech fest INNOTECH is also conducted each year.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good but not the latest enough some modern changes must be made to aware the students from modern technology. The exam structure is decided by AKTU tentative comes and each college of AKTU has to follow that tentative.
Placement Experience
Placement is enough in the college. In CSE, IT, And EC there is near about 100% placement, and branch-like civil and mechanical fewer students are placed as they are preparing for Government Jobs. But all the faculty are doing hard work for being placed for each student.
College Events
Sports fest, cultural fest, freshers, prastuti and individual events of each society of the college. Epoque where celebrities come. TEDx event, Guest lectures, Alumni talk, kavyanjali, etc. Interdepartmental sports, interhostal sports etc. INNOTECH.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive as compared to the government but there is an FW category also available for economically week students. Currently, the first-year fee is about 1.5lakhs and for FW students it is about 25000. A scholarship is also available.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship available for students as government scholarship and college is giving scholarship for meritorious students in who scored good marks in exams. As I have scored 83.4% in the first year then college had given me the scholarship amount of 2188. And for departmental topper college gives 12000 and for runner up that Is 6000.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities in college are good. Labs are conducted in the best manner and equipped with modern instruments and technology which helps the students to understand theoretical knowledge which they have learned in the classroom. As above I told sports activities like sports fest, interdepartmental sports, inter hostel sports. Each sport has its own ground Space either indoor or outdoor.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni network and senior students are very helpful and humble always ready to help juniors. In our college, there is a separate website to connect alumni of college as KIET Alma connect where any student can connect to alumni and talk about their future programs.
Admission
I had given UPSEE 2017 entrance exam conducted by AKTU and ranked 15696 in the general category after that we have to register for counseling and submit documents that are required. And registration fee of 20000 is also to be submitted which is deducted from the college fee after taking admission after registration college are filled to take admission and AKTU provide college according to the rank.
Faculty
The faculties of my college are good and sound in knowledge. Some are experienced and some are less experienced but all have specialization in their field. And the course is completed by each faculty. The subject plan is also decided.
