Remarks

The college is great overall and is much like what a student expects from his dream college. The events are fun and interactive. Although the labs could be much better and the equipments should be upgraded. Same with the gym.

Entrance Preview

I opted for CET, which is the entrance exam for maharashtra. Through this, I opted for my desired field in Biotechnology.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is really great as I got to know about my field in depth. There are certain subjects which you might wonder as to what it is doing in biotechnology, but it in fact related to biotechnology.

Internships Opportunities

I haven't done an internship yet. So i wouldn't be able to provide much help on that. Although the good thing is that, the Principal is really supportive.

Placement Experience

So far, for Biotechnology, 2 companies have come in the 7th semester. More are expected to come. Most of the companies that have visited the college are IT related.

College Events

When it comes to cultural events, it is much awaited event of Rizvi college. Other that this, there are many events spread across the year. These include saree day, tie day, superhero day, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the open category is the range of Rs.60,000 which increase by a certain amount every year. The fees can be paid in 2 installments if there's a financial problem.

Campus Life

A lot of competition are carried out during sports day, freshers' day, farewell etc. These include robotics, puzzles, counter strike, ramp walk, etc. Both the sexes are treated equally and it is made sure by the principal that it continues to be treated that way.

Hostel Facilities

I don't stay in a hostel, so I don't have any idea about the hostel facilities. Although from my friends I have heard that it is quite good in terms of a hostel.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

I never had much conversation on the alumini network and senior students.

Exam Structure

We had a flexible timing. Our faculty used to inform us the timing before hand and make sure whether it is comfortable for everyone.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

Student: teacher ratio is so much satisfactory, each professor knows each student. The professors are mainly visiting professors from IIT Bombay, barc, tifr etc institutes.

I have taken admission in this college on the basis mht-cet enterance exam score . i have applied to multiple colleges through mht-cet counselling this college was one of them.The mht-cet counselling was having three rounds in the 2024 but one additional round was also conducted. In first round i was alloted the A.C Patil College of Engineering, Kharghar but it was more far from my home so i didt take admission in that college. In second round i was alloted to the Shree L.R.Tiwari College of Engineering it was also to far from my home but the main reason to not take admission in this college was that this college fees was affordable to me. and in the third round this college was alloted to me so this was my last option so i have taken admission in this college. the admission is conducted by the cet cell of maharashtra. the eligiblity is that we should have minimum 45% in your class 12th and should have an non-zero score in the mht-cet enterance exam.the most preferred course of the students are computer engineering, artificial intelligence and data science,Electronics and computer science...Read More

The college i choose this over othe rcolleegs are many factors like good environment and campus rith great social life.
