Remarks

It is a wonderful college, cleanliness is maintained, the food in the canteen is good and the location is also good, computer labs are there for us and the college management is great.

Course Curriculum Overview

Great quality of knowledge is provided by the faculties. In each semester industrial visits are conducted for the students link in SEBI, Coca Cola, etc. The exam conducted for entering is based on MCQ's. The course is very good for not just getting book knowledge but for personal development and for general knowledge as well.

Placement Experience

Many big companies like Amazon, E and Y, Deloitte etc visit our college. There is a placement committee as well in the college as a special step to prepare the students for placements. Almost all students get placed.

College Events

The college is also known for the events conducted as they are valuable to the students. Events like a treasure hunt, gaming event, star night, business plan, STC are conducted by the college. Also, the main event of Zest is also conducted where different types of competitions take place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees charged is worth the money for this college as all valuable knowledge is provided with great facilities. An additional fee of 5000 Rs which is the total amount is charged as security of library books provided for each semester.No extra amount is charged for events.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not opted for any scholarship or educational loan but yes, the college offers scholarship to some students.

Campus Life

There are many competitions and events conducted by the college such as treasure hunt, business plan competition, debates, cricket competition, badminton competition, etc. Also, professionals visit the college for guest lectures. Almost all students participate in it

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very humble and supportive and help their juniors. Also, they share their experience with us so that we get an example of how to deal if there is any problem.

Admission

To enter this college I gave CET exam of GGSIPU and based on the rank student gets the college. So, there are certain criteria of rank to enter this college. I choose this college because of the placements students get. Forgiving the CET exam 1000 Rs are charged to fill the form.

Faculty

Faculty are qualified and have years of experience. Their knowledge is very good and is very supportive of each and every student. They are ready to help the student at any point of time and they make sure that each and every student are satisfied with their way of teaching and the knowledge provided.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
