Feedback of PCCOE

Positive: College gives you freedom wherever necessary and keeps you in discipline. Lot of opportunities for personality Development and various committees to keep the organization intact. Negative: College has a beautiful lawn but the students are not allowed to use it.

The structure is basically decided by the Pune University (SPPU), Overall I'll rate the structure around 7/10. My course being Mechanical assignments and stuff followed. PCCOE conducts frequent examinations so as to keep you in touch with the syllabus. Labs are perfectly maintained and are in order. Although it leaves you exhausted at the end of the day it is worth the efforts eventually.

Placements and Job Opportunities are quite good. Mostly IT companies around 60% of placements are done by this companies. Remaining 40% comprises of mechanical, Civil, E&TC. College also provides Internships and stipend is decided over there.

All kinds of Technical, Cultural, Sports, Academic Events are held and the response is huge. The technical and cultural events are quite big followed by huge participation. Cultural Events are annual business but rest take place frequently.

Fee structure no matter what is always more than expected but according to me what college provides is worth the fees it takes. For mechanical it is around 1lac per annum on an average. And around the same figure for every branch.

Scholarships are provided to backward casts. Also those who have extra ordinary talent can also opt for the same. I have no idea about the Loan facilities provided by the college so cannot comment on it.

Gender ratio is around 8:1 male to female. College gives you tonnes of opportunities to take part in Extracurricular activities. There is a strict anti-ragging policy so this makes it impossible to carry out malpractices in the campus. College arranges parties annually for the student from the student fund itself. College is highly intolerant about the discriminations.

I had to contact a senior exclusively for the purpose of 4th year project. He was really helpful. In other events the seniors supported a lot and encouraged us to take part in every event and guiding us through all the years.

Through the CAP round (3/4). I had filled the online form of admissions after my JEE scores were out. In which PCCOE college was on the 3rd place. first 2 rounds I did not get in but as soon as the results for 3rd round were out I got to know that I'm eligible to get the admission in PCCOE. Then informing the college and filling out forms and depositing the Year Round fees did the work for me.

All Senior Faculties have a minimum Ph.D. qualifications either completed or ongoing. All the faculty members are quite passionate about what they do and teach, every faculty is allotted a group of students to whom they have to be their Mentor. Faculties kind of give you a hard time but never over the limit.
