An all-round development

SIT is the institute which focuses on the all-round development of the student. It gives a wide range of avenues for the student to follow his passion and interest. Symbiosis Group, as a whole, has everything under one roof, from Engineering to Entrepreneurship. The students are not only encouraged to take up a corporate job but to develop an interest in the field of research.

The curriculum of my course is well- structured and refreshes the basic concepts. The concepts that are taught are revised regularly. All the concepts prove to be significant and are correlated to every subject of the course. There are some new and interesting electives which are included in the curriculum.

The placement cell is highly active and is handled by an efficient -group of people having a strong industrial network. Each department has its own industry-related officer, responsible for communicating with the placement cell for the respective domain-related companies. There are some reputed companies that visit SIT, which includes IBM, MICROSOFT, DELL, RENISHAW etc.

The institute believes in the all-round development of the student. Thus, every year, the institute organizes the cultural and technical fests for the students. This provides the student to think and become technically sound. There are many brain-storming and innovative technical games and quizzes, which make the student be comfortable and friendly with technology.

The fees for my course is feasible and constitutes to 1,85,000 per Annum. The fees can be paid by any of the modes, through online or by DD. The institute does not take any extra charges, except for the hostel accommodation. There is a transparency in the fee-breakdown, providing the correct amount towards each academic expenses.

The college provides scholarship to the students securing the GPA above 8.5. The scholarship amount constitutes half the amount of the semester fees. The student has to apply for the scholarship and depending on the above-mentioned criteria, the scholarship is provided to the student. The continuous evaluation and constant performance are the key factors for getting the scholarship.

The campus is surrounded by beautiful flora and fauns. There are two campuses, one is on the base, called HILL-BASE CAMPUS, and the other is the HILL-TOP CAMPUS. The hill base campus, where SIT is situated, has a very huge campus for the college. The labs are well-structured, clean and have well-calibrated instruments in it. The labs are periodically cleaned, once the batches finish their practicals.

Alumni-network is very good and strong. Some of the alumni are either studying or doing their jobs at SIT. They provide a good amount of guidance, in terms of the concepts and non-technical also. They help in improving the mistakes that they had committed in their course period. Some of the alumni tell about the requirement of the industry where they are working.

The faculties in each department are middle-aged, highly- educated and are experts in their respective fields. They also have an adequate amount of industrial experiences, not only limited to India. The subjects that are part of the curriculum are taught by the experts in it. This gives a sense of pleasure while learning the subjects, as they discuss all types of problems that they faced during a particular project or while developing any applications.
