Likes
- Small but fully equipped campus as our campus has probably everything that an engineering college should possess.
- We have two high tech labs and there we have industry sponsored teaching.
- Our faculties literally strikes terror with their teaching as they are outstanding.
Dislikes
- In comparison to other campuses of Symbiosis ours is small and has just a few sports facilities.
- We also don't have in campus hostels which most Symbiosis campus otherwise has.
Course Curriculum Overview
Nothing but looking today's world where AI has taken over almost everything. One needs to edit photos, AI does it in minutes and this is just one example. Everything that can be done AI does all of it, and that was the reason on me having AI&ML. Machine learning is also core of our subject and it too is as amazing as anything.
Internships Opportunities
It's the tech companies like Infosys who have now setup their majority of work in the Pune is where 40 students of our college were sent for intenrships. Stipend as good as 25000 was paid and advanced AI tools and machine jobs were given to us during that intenrships.
Placement Experience
If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
Fees and Financial Aid
Symbiosis Institute of Technology fees is 3.4 lakhs a year and it is in line with that of IITs. Facilities and all though are better than IITs and even we have hostels and all as well. Scholarships and all are also available in abundance here as the fees is high and even though it's a private college there are enough EWS quota seats where merit students get full concession in their tuition fees.
Campus Life
Campus is small as there are just two buildings in the campus. A little area which is open and has tress on its edges is how our campus looks like. The building is fully air-conditioned and also the library hall is always a place where one will find AC on throughout. Our campus organizes Tech events, confrences on advanced AI and others. Our annual fest which is our core fest is named SITEX.
Admission
I have a lot of colleges as COEP, PSIT and even IIIT Pune from where I had confirm admission from. I took a lot of thinking as I even cleared SAT and fom my CET score too, I was qualified for SIT. So, one way or the other one can take admission here by any means. Try for CET though as majority of seats here are alloted through CET scores.
Faculty
If one word that comes to or rather strikes mind if I think about them, then it is terror. Terror not in the sense that they terrorized us but their teaching is on the spot. Hackathon and all we are taken by them and they always lead us as that enthusiasm is still alive in them. Professor Arvind Swamy is everyone's favourite as he is a Java Expert and experienced too.
Night Life
Crossroads to be honest are best hangout zones near SIT Pune. There are parks and all as well but it is far from Pune City. Still there are good cafes like the Boho Cage and Maharashtra Pride. E Sqare is also setting up it's branch here and once that is functional we will have almost everything close to our campus.
