Lot to learn

It is an overall good experience. A lot different from school so people tend to not like it when they face everything by themselves but it makes us learn a lot. From studies to activities everything lies in our own hands.

We have trimester system and thus we have to go through very frequent tests that can get hectic to a little extent but we get our syllabus designed accordingly so that makes it easier. Thr cpurse structure is good as we get to choose subjects that we like the most.

We do have a placement committe that selects the students according to their preference and by the end of third year students have to go through interviews arranged by the faculty incharge and many companies come and visit the campus so there are ample opportunities for the deserving students.

Cultural gathering named Umang for the department - dancing, singing, one act play, fashion show. Sports events - inter collegiate and inter departmental. State level basketball tournament known as hoop it up.

When compared to other colleges providing the same course it can get a little expensive. We have to pay 50k per year for fee which includes tuition fee and other facility's payment that the college provides.

Scholarship is provided on the basis of academic results. I personally have not availed any for myself as I was not eligible. I do not know of any loan facility so I cannot comment on that but scholarship is given to top scorers.

Sports activities are conducted from time to time. Clubs are made for sports, cultural and social events and students can join them according to their preference. We are given platfrom to showcase our talent in an appropriate way.

I live in a pg service that is managed by a professional service provider for accommodation. There are many flats in various areas of Pune under them. I have a 2 sharing room and I pay 1,40,000 yearly for the rent.

Alumni meet was recently conducted by the college and seniors were contacted personally and called for the same. They have by far good reviews for the college and their life after it. College has made them learn a lot academically as well as in their personal lives.

I Choose B.Com because I wanted to explore the options that I might choose in the future and this course allowed me to choose from a vast variety and pursue the thing I have my interest in meanwhile figuring out hoobies as well. I Choose Mit because it allows to experience the college life but with a systematic routine to an extent allowing one to create balance in life.

The faculty is highly qualified. There are some exceptions always but other than that it is good to learn from them. We get to fill our feedbacks which allows to put our opinion to the authorities. The feedback is given through our erp which makes it anonymous to others so we can get completely honest about whatever we fell and suggestions or complaints are welcomed by the head of department and the dean as well so we can always go and put through our opinion in front of them if we feel the need.
