Remarks
My college is overall good. Some things need to be improved. Otherwise its all positive. The infrastructure is excellent as compared to other colleges of Delhi University. I am happy to be a part of this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course is based on cbcs- choice based credit system. The exam structure is semester wise. I find it cool and easy to handle. One can score good marks due to less syllabus and more time gap. There are 2 semesters in an year.
Placement Experience
The placements and job offers are less but the placement cell is now emerging and growing big. Mostly, by 2 years there will be good placements in kmv. Yes, we get internships and the college organised internship fair as well. The maximum stipend was 10000 per month.
College Events
There are many events conducted in our college from seminars to cultural fests. We have freshers party, farewell party and annual cultural fest known asTryst. Also, there are much educational seminars conducted by each department every month. The management Committee properly manage all these events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is extremely feasible. Its just 10000 for every course expect computer science hons. I find it very feasible as our graduation will be done in total 30000 which is extremely affordable for every student.
Fees and Financial Aid
Some scholarships are offered by college only for low income groups like SC, ST, OBC, etc. Loans are not given by college. Student have to manage it by own or a banking institution. There is no scholarship available for unreserved students.
Campus Life
The labs facility is excellent. They are properly air conditioned and all the systems work good except some. Coming to sports, there are much sports played like inter college tournaments, intracollege too. They are followed by a sports day celebration too.
Hostel Facilities
I have my friends who have opted for hostel. There are 50 seats for each year done on a sharing room basis of 2 students. I find the annual hostel fees very high which is not worth it. The accommodation structure is good and the food facilities is just average.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, I still have contact with my seniors of my course and other courses too. Some are helpful and some are not. Its good to have all the events managed by seniors support. I feel it as a network of all the years passing out
Admission
I got admission in this college through merit list. I actually wanted to do economics honours but I have not been able to get any of the colleges I desired due to high cutoff. I got admission in kmv in first cutoff in maths hons as it was my second option.
Faculty
Most of the faculty of our course is highly qualified. They have done Phd. And they teach very well. Some teachers are okay but the other teachers ate extremely dedicated towards studies. I find the facility good overall.
