Mathematics at Keshav Mahavidyalaya (KMV), a constituent college of the University of Delhi, is a 3-year (6-semester) undergraduate programme under the NEP 2020 framework, with an optional 4th year for Honours with Research. The programme aims to develop critical, logical, and analytical thinking through a rigorous curriculum spanning classical Calculus, Real and Complex Analysis, Abstract Algebra, Differential Equations (including Mathematical Modelling), Number Theory, Graph Theory, Cryptography, Information Theory, Network Security, and C++ Programming exclusively for Mathematics. The annual fees are Rs. 13,480 for General/OBC/EWS category students, and the total seat intake is 59 seats. Admission is based on CUET (UG) scores through the DU Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees structure was approximately Rs. 5500 per semester making it a total of Rs. 33,000 approximately for the entire course. Out of the Rs. 5500 semester fee, approximately half the amount was tuition fee and rest half was divided in different smaller categories like lab fees, library charges, development charges etc. Rest of my batchmates were also paying similar fees. No scholarships were available.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I paid Rs 9500 for my first year and around the same amount in the second year as well and I believe that it is a very less amount of fee that is being asked for the high quality of education that is being provided here and high prices of education that we see nowadays which makes it affordable for the children who come from lower-income classes as well. Since I am a general student I do not have much idea about the scholarship programs or the financial assistance that is available on the campus but in my opinion, the fees are very much affordable for almost everyone in today's scenario.

The teachers in my college are very talented and highly qualified. They are very supportive and provide a very healthy environment for discussions to the students. As maths hons is a very logical subject, the teachers give their best to make students imagine and feel the things properly as well logically. The curriculum of my course is very properly selected - in initial semesters, the subjects are fairly easy and relatable to class 12th syllabus so as to bring the students on a track. And then the difficulty level and depth of the subjects start increasing. Apart from various subjrcts of maths, ability enhancement compulsory course (AECC), skill enhancement course(SEC) and generic elective (GE) are also included in the curriculum of the course for the multifaced development of the students. The students are not just restricted to pursue masters in maths only, if they choose same GE conecutively for 4 semesters.
