Remarks
I love my college. Our University is near about perfect. Faculty is good, there is so much space and positive environment that we can think of. We as students do and fulfill our duties. Even we fight for any propaganda of our government doing. The only problem we r facing is the communication with our Vice Chancellor. She is very stiff and often deny our demands.
Course Curriculum Overview
My 2 year course is in semester basis. 4 semester and different topics in each semester. 3rd and 4th semester has special papers. I took Astrophysics and Atomic physics in 3rd and 4th sem respectively. Exam is divided in two forms— internal and external. And I think that's a good practice.
Placement Experience
Actually, our college is a degree college. So no placement is given here. But internship is available for some students specially who cracked the NET exam. Internship and P.hD is available here. But for now I'm having my post graduation.
College Events
Our college holds many events. Cultural events is very often. Also reunion events, annual events are organized by us, students and authorities. The events are big and small depending on the type of events. But we attend it with great enthusiasm.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is different for different strams. As of my knowledge, some departmental students have to pay higher fees. In physics the admission fees are 4,500 with a monthly tuition fee 150 rupees. So it is in feasible side not much expensive like other private organization.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know much about the scholarship our college is paying or offered anyone. But they do help with our scholarship very well e.g seami Vivekananda merit scholarship, minority scholarship. For girls Kanyashree and K3 scholarships.
Campus Life
We have a big ground where we play football, cricket and other games depend of our students. Also there is a sports room. We play carrom, table tennis there. Our lab is well established. Every type of instruments are there.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumnis of our University are very much respected. They often come and interact with us. Seniors too help us in lot of ways. Recently an alumni of our college held incarcerated for his right to speak. We gather and have the feelings for him as he is one of our alumnis.
Admission
I gave M.Sc entrance exam hold by WBJEE on behalf of Presidency University. Based on the exam and rank I got selected in the post graduate course. I love physics and want to go further with it. That's why I Choose this course.
Faculty
Faculty is well renowned. Everyone has superior degrees like P.hD and foreign degrees and research experiences. They are very much interested and responsible in teaching us. I think that's good. There are experts in different topics.
