Heritage Institute of Technology is the best College in Kolkata. With a huge Campus and Excellent lab facilities. The teachers are good and helpful. It has the best cultural fest in East India. Seniors are very helpful and interactive here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Computer Science and Engineering department is the best in Heritage Institute of Technology. Course Curriculum comprises of advanced technology. Exam is taken on semester basis. In total there are 8 semester.
Placement Experience
Placement and Job facilities are good. All the eligible students got job in the last placement drive. Internship is provided on merit basis, which is both paid and unpaid. Renowned companies like TCS, Amazon, Infosis and many more came for placement this year.
College Events
We have Dakshh as technical fest, which is one of the best in Kolkata We have Eclecia, which is thw best in East India with a daily footfall of 13000. Renowned artists perform in It like Farhan Akhtar, DJ NYK, Fossil, KK, Mohit Chauhan.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible Around 4,00,000 is required to complete the whole course. Which is very much cheap. In comparison to other private colleges Heritage Institute of Technology is very Cheap and Feasible in terms of Fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is awarded to Poor Students and any student can take student loan from any Bank of there choice. We have Punjab National Bank in our Campus, who provide Student loan to any of the Student of Heritage Institute of Technology.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is not that good, Student have cultural fest every year. Labs are Good. We have 20 Clubs for different extra- Curricular activities. We have a students' Council in our college which looks after the activities and well being of students in the college.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors in the college are very helpful and interactive. Ragging is A big NO in the college. They do help with Notes and other study material. The alumni network is very active. They go take part in fest. Alumni President, Saptarshi Mitra is one of the best Student Heritage has produced.
Admission
Admission is given on the basis of ranks got in WBJEE exam or JEE(Mains) Management quota is also there. I got admission through WBJEE Exam and after that I had to go through the counseling process. Where according to my rank I got admission in the college.
Faculty
One of the best Faculty is here in Heritage Institute of Technology. They have studied from the best colleges of the Country. They are very friendly and helpful. Sandip Chatterjee Sir (Dean of Student affairs) is one of the best teacher in the institute.
